What else is going on...
Well, we have less then a week left tell Christmas and I am feeling less stress since we are done with the Christmas party. I had to get my house all together, which I have this amazing friend that came over on Thursday and we exchanged gifts and she helped me clean. She is the best, I love you Beth. I also had to make sure all the gifts were ready for Dave's side. And a side note- I went to the grocery store early on Friday before Dave had to go to work so I did have to take the kids and then I forgot a key ingredient to the dinner that night. So yes I had to go back with the kids. Oh well such as life! I am done making all my gifts I just have to wrap like crazy. I hope in the next few days I can get that done. I am also working on PJ's for Sarah that are red for Christmas eve night (one of our traditions). Now to the finishing touches of menu planning and wrapping and getting PJ's ready for Santa to come. It should be fun. Jonathan is going to open all the presents with our help (well esp Sarah's) on Christmas. I am still going to post Jonathan dancing to my two front teeth! Merry Christmas, if I don't post till then!

Made my day!!!

So after a long hard day at work, I walked in the door and Dave had dinner ready and on the table (and he had been at work all day too, but got off a little earlier then me). I didn't expect it and it sure put a smile on my face. It is the little things that make a big difference! I have you guys!

Excitment!
Another note- My parents and my sister started to make fresh bread (cause of the rise in food prices) and it is so good. It brought me back to the good ol' days, when I made homemade bread for my family every week. Well, when Dave and i got married we got a bread maker. Which I have never used, while this week I got it out and made bread from it. It was great! I love fresh bread! But it was funny cause Dave had never seen a breadmaker and he was so impressed that it did it ll for you! It made me chuckle!

Random
This was my first card from Jonathan for Mothers Day! I loved it, it melted my heart!
Jonathan lately wants to hold Sarah for a short time! I love my kids!
Yes, he fell asleep on the swing. He woke up early this day, and he just loves being outside. And he wanted me to push him, so I did and soon he fell asleep on the swing- I couldn't believe it! It made me laugh!
Sarah's first bike ride. They both did great. Sarah fell asleep and Jonathan didn't touch her he just looked out the trailer!
Jonathan just chillin' outside!Jonathan is learning to be such a good big brother! As you can see from the pictures above, Jonathan is reading to Sarah. Jonathan is being with Sarah on tummy time- which is rare cause he seems to like to lay on her (I think that Sarah had to be big for the sake of survival!) Yesterday Jonathan said Sarah once instead of Rara- Dave and I just looked at each other and smiled and praised Jonathan. Jonathan asks for Sarah all the time. They already have such a bond, this past week Jonathan and Sarah were talking to each other in their own way it was so cute! Jonathan is learning to try to say words a little better, and signing. This is helping so much. Although yesterday morning Jonathan kept doing the sign for eat and milk over and over again and pointing to the pantry. I didn't know what he wanted. He soon began to have a fit cause I didn't know what he wanted and he couldn't communicate it with me. Later that day, the same thing- but just the sign to eat. Then I realized what he wanted. He wanted fruit by the foot (I don't usually buy it but it was way on sale), and he just loves it. This morning while I was putting away breakfast Jonathan as walking along the counter, and then peeked over at me I waved at him and then he waved back. I asked for a kiss and then he leaned over and gave me one (with his mouth opened). Its those moments that I just cherish! I love my little boy, he is growing so much! I went back to work this past week, the anticipation of it was the worst. I am getting through it. I know that it is good for Dave to spend more quality time with the kids. Jonathan I know loves it, he loves to play with his Dad. However, Sarah isn't liking it. She is very much Mommas girl! She is having a hard time with the bottle. She will only take it when she is way hungry. So she seems to miss out on at least two feeding, but she seems to do fine and not wake up in the night! But Dave says that it is a process to feed her. I hope that she gets better for those that have to feed her!

Our cute Kids!
I thought that I would show you these cute pictures and what happens when I try to take pictures of the two of them! Sarah is now in 6 month clothes, I thought that maybe she was slowing down but it doesn't look like it! She is in the cute outfit that Grandmother and Aunt Lori gave to us- isn't she a cutie in it (as the shirt says). Jonathan just loves Sarah- when she cries he says Rara over and over again. When Sarah is doing tummy time Jonathan crawls right up to her and loves to give her toys at first and then he climbs on her. She is so patient with him, she doesn't cry until he puts all his weight on her. I know that he is loving her. But this was the sequence of events in taking pictures of Sarah and Jonathan. Sarah is such a trooper! Our cute girl!

So this is me changing Sarah's Diaper. I lifted her legs and then she started to laugh, so I went and got the camera. Every time I try to show Dave her new laugh she doesn't do it. Just in front of Mommy. So now you can all hear Sarah's cute laugh! I love it!
Side note- thanks everyone for your comments on Jonathan's communication issue. I have been working on a few signs with him and I think that it is working. He has about four signs down. And this afternoon when he got up from his nap the first thing he did was the sign for eat! So I think that we are making head way! And Jonathan is now in the 3rd % for height so he is making progress and the Dr was happy about that. He said keep doing what your doing! This made me happy!

The Best....
Can I say that Garage Sales can be the best! Today I found Jonathan's Santa Present, I love it and think that it is so cute and he will have fun. Now you are wondering what it is- you will just have to wait for Christmas like Jonathan does! But really, you can get some really good stuff if you are willing to look. I got this hand blender that hasn't even been used for 1 dollar- yes a buck. I do come home and think why did I buy that, in the moment you do sometimes buy things you may not need- but for the most part I try to be grounded. But I do love garage sale seasons!

Happy St Patrick's Day
Below is Sarah doing tummy time. She doesn't mind tummy time which is new for me. After about 10-15 minutes she is done. She is very strong. I also think that she looks a lot like Abby here! I m going to do a post pictures of Dave and I when we were little- and see who Sarah looks like the most!

Uh-Oh
Sarah is doing okay she has some congestion so it is hard for here to breath. So I have to suction her and she hates it! She hardly ever cries, but when I suction her she has a mad little cry! Yesterday we went to the doctors and Sarah was 10 lbs 2 oz and is in the 89%. She is a healthy baby! Well, we were waiting for the doctor to come we weighted Jonathan and he was 17 lbs 10 oz- watch out Jonathan your sister is going to caught you in no time! No, but I was happy to see that Jonathan was 17 lbs cause last appointment he had only gained 5 oz in 3 months.
Thanks Kristi for taking Jonathan this morning! Wednesdays are always a long day for me. Cause Dave is gone from the early morning till late evening! So any little break helps. Sarah loves to be held for a long time before she goes down in her crib, so I would lay with her. But then I wouldn't sleep well, and then that leads to a tried Shirlene and then that leads to Shirlene having breakdowns. So in order to alleviate that Dave will hold Sarah while he studies at night. That helps so much! Thanks sweetie for all your help!

Learning
This is Jonathan playing on the bouncy chair. He loves to play on it. This past week. He got on it and put the blanket over his head and anted to play peek a boo. It was way funny!
doors closed when i m feeding Sarah cause it is very difficult to get Jonathan if he decides to get into something. Well, yesterday morning I ws feeding Sarah and I forgot to close the pantry door. So of course Jonathan wanted to explore. I have a 25 bag of flour in the pantry and he decided to get about 1/2 cup to 1 cup out of the bag. He got it all over the floor and himself. I think that he was hungry himself cause he started to taste it. Well, Jonathan does seem to be getting into more since I am not right there. But, he is doing better then last week. So I am sure it will get better with time!
We have been working with Jonathan on folding his arms during prayers and it just seems like he is caughting on. This morning I was playing with Jonathan in his room and I was asking him if he wanted to go down the slide. then all of the sudden he folded his arms like we were going to say a prayer so we did. I guess he got confused cause he usually plays on his slide before he goes to bed and we usually pray before he goes to bed. nyways I thought that it is very cute and he is a very smart boy! I will try to post of picture of him praying!
