Farm Day!

Jonathan has been asking about Farm days for about two weeks now! He has a great memory and remembers it from last year. It finally came and Jonathan and Sarah were way excited!

Jonathan enjoyed being pulled around the farm
Sarah loved the Piggies

Looking at the piggies

Jonathan was a little timid when it came to the horse, but he did pet him!

I Love his expression!

Sarah enjoyed the farm, although she looks very beaten up! (Jonathan and Sarah were playing with Daddy. Daddy told Jonathan to give Sarah a chance with the plastic bat and he threw it at her. And hit her right in the nose! Poor girl!)

Jonathan thinking about feeding the baby goat some milk!

Jonathan getting a chance to milk the goat!

He enjoyed it a lot! Sarah wanted to try, but didn't!

Enjoyed playing on the hay!

Responsibility Cards

I have finally implemented responsibility cards with Jonathan and Sarah. I have wanted to do this for over a year and finally did it. I was done with asking if they have gone potty, to get dressed. They, or at least Jonathan, know the routine and what I expect them to do. I like to call them responsibilities not chores. It has a better sound to it and chores always have a negative idea. They were super excited about them at first and now it is just another thing that they do. I like them a lot and am working one on one with Sarah. Jonathan just needed to be guided in finishing them.

Gordon's Blanket

Here you go Emily, up close!

Life

After the blessing weekend we have try to get back to normal life! Here is a few things we have been up to!

Loves is hand, it is a nice soothing thing!
I was working on things in the back, we are in the process of getting the spare bedroom into Sarah's room. It is very close, tonight Dave is going to bring in Sarah bed. I am very excited for her to have her own room and she really enjoys having her own space!
Jonathan and Sarah playing with the car seats. Dave needed the van for work.

Jonathan is learning so much and says the funniest things sometimes. I want to remember these two conversations.

We were watching conference this past weekend on the laptop streamed onto the TV.

The computer froze

J: What happened?

Dave: It's thinking.

J: What's it thinking about?

Jonathan loves to play with whomever. Well he wanted to play with someone from church, so I called her Mom. But she was busy so it didn't work.

J: Does Lilian get to come over and play.

Me: No, cause her Mom is busy.

J: Oh, I really want to play with her

Me: I know, maybe later.

He goes and rides his wiggle car, and then comes back in a few minutes later.

J: Mom, she's not busy she is running.

i love his logic right now!

Sarah is showing me how to nurse (I had to tell her to put her shirt down). It made me laugh.
Gordon is growing up so fast! I don't know how I feel about that!!!! But with all his tummy time since he doesn't complain, he is getting so strong and is able to left his head up high. This was on April 2nd he was 9 weeks old! I love this picture he is so adorable!

Gordon's Big Day

Gordon's Special Day Finally came! Gordon received a name and a blessing on March 27,2011. We usually do it a little earlier, but with Gordon being a surprise. I needed time to adjust and make a few things for him and make his blessing outfit. I finished his outfit days before, and I think that it made him look so handsome! Gordon was given the blessing by Dave and Papa, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Uncle Craig, and Uncle Danny were in the circle. Dave was a little nervous but did great. He blessed him that he would grow and progress and continue to be healthy. His family loves him and he would know that they do. He should seek guidance from them. He was blessed to always have a testimony and know that the church is true. He was blessed to continue to be patience and to be a peacemaker. He was consulted to make wise decisions and to make the decision to marry in the temple and raise a righteous family and to serve the Lord!

Gordon is a such a special spirit! We love him dearly and he brings so much joy to our family!

After church we had lunch at my parents house! It was great food, and we are thankful for all those that helped bring something! We enjoyed each others company! Gordon did great the entire church. He was passed around continually and didn't complain. But after lunch he was ready for a good NAP! I really didn't get the camera out until everyone left, so there is no group picture or one with Gordon and Grandma- sad to say!

Papa and Gordon, Papa got Gordon to sleep! Like Papa's do! I love this one cause Grammy is talking to Gordon and he is talking back!
Enjoying time with Great Grandpa!

Ben REALLY wanted to hold Gordon, he waited all church! But Gordon was not happy- but Ben was!
After lunch and Gordon finally went down for a nap. Dave entertained the kids and we all talked. It was a really nice day!!

Sarah has her baby!

Family Comes to visit!

On March 25th we had a few visitors and Jonathan and Sarah were SO excited for Grandma and Grandpa to come visit! They love to play with them and keep them going for hours! I am sure that Ben and Jodie need a day to rest from coming to visit!

Becky and Josh came to visit on Friday night because Josh had to work on Sunday and they were afraid of the weather being bad to come down. It was fun to see them and of course Jonathan and Sarah loved seeing their cousins (however I didn't get any pictures of them together). Grandpa was so great at holding him and getting Gordon to sleep. I guess that is what Grandpa's do best
Sarah LOVES Gordon and will help him out whenever she thinks he needs it!
I just love this picture!

Grandpa is helping Sarah hold Gordon. Sarah is so happy to hold him. And Gordon is content being held!
So sweet! Asleep in Grandpa's arms! We sure enjoyed there visit, and were sad to see them go! Jonathan tells me frequently that he misses Grandpa and Grandma!
