Our little Alien!

Our Jonathan is such character! He makes me laugh! We were at Grammy's and Jonathan wanted to put these on! He was so cute that I took a few pictures! Jonathan got this rash all over his body, but now it is gone! Which I am thankful for! We continue to try to figure out how to get Jonathan to eat! The PEEP lady came that specializes in eating some to try to help with Jonathan. I have been to trying to do what she says and the tips that she gives us. But to no avail- Jonathan just doesn't eat like you would think a growing little boy should! I am getting very frustrated not knowing what to do!!!! But, I have been praying and hoping that something will come to me. She has sent us to to see the food and nutrition clinic at primaries- which I hope they can shed some light on the situation. But in the mean time we, we are trying some other things to try and stretch his tummy!! Wish me luck or best yet keep me in your prayers to be patient!

Sarah

Our Happy girl!
Sarah trying to entertain herself!
I am a big girl Mom, no more baby toys for me!
We always find Sarah in the funniest positions when she is sleeping! I think that this picture is just so precious, sleeping on top of her dolly!
Sarah is growing up so much! Yesterday, she she started to get her first tooth and she is doing great (no crying or anything out of the usual). Sarah is done with the swing. I put Sarah in the swing twice today and both time I found her trying to play with the bouncy seat and then I decided to put he in the bouncy chair. The next time I see her, she is sitting up trying to get the plastic container. So I having trying to work on sitting and she is doing pretty good, she is just a little tipsy! She is so cute in her bumpo! I love it! Sarah has scudded back once, and she just loves to fail her arms and pat her self, esp when she gets excited! She is so much fun!

Happy Birthday Sweety!

Dave's birthday was on Tuesday! I woke Dave up with a breakfast in bed- yummy waffles, strawberries and whip cream! It was so good and filling! We went on a family bike ride! Then in the afternoon, we got our normal babysitter (side note- it is our next door neighbor and she asked me if her little sister could come to-she is 10 yrs old- cause she said that her sister adores our kids, I thought it was kind of funny). Then we went to the movies Dave and I! When we came back, I made this ice cream cake for Dave. I like to do ice cream cakes it is so hot this time of year! I then surprised Dave with his Birthday gift- usually he either knows what I am getting him or he figures it out. But this year he s completely surprised, I bought him a speaker he can put his zune in. He loved it! I got it off woot for rocken awesome deal! I tried to make this day special for Dave, I think that he was very pleased! Happy Birthday sweety, I love you!

Jonathan's First Haircut!

The before!

The after!

So I have been holding out to cut Jonathan's hair, just cause I just don't want him to grow up. But, after coming home from Sister's weekend and seeing his hair all over. I knew that it was time! Well, Dave and I cut his hair! He did great at first. But it took longer then he thought it should take and he was of course done! But his hair was so thin that it was hard to cut! But, we did and as you can see he is a happy boy with a sucker in his mouth! Jonathan looks so different to me. He looks like a little boy!

Sisters Weekend!

Pedicures!
Doesn't she look so cute in her swim suit!
Sisters!
Sarah and Me!
The group (I of course was taking the picture)

On Wednesday getting Pedicures, some getting extra things done! It was wonderful! We loved it so much that next year we are going to get the package that had a facial, pedicure, manicure and lunch!! On Thursday we headed to Bear Lake. We had lots of fun playing games, talking, eating and relaxing! It is nice to get away and get rejuvenated and a little kick in the right direction to be a better mother. We always have a book or topic that we discuss! Loretta and the girls came, which was fun to bond and hear there in sites and stories. My Sarah came cause she was still nursing. But she did wonderful. She did better then when we came up a few weeks again. She did great in the pool and she even did good in the Lake (we inched little by little!) We missed those that couldn't came this year, hopefully next year everyone will be able to come!

Havin' Fun!

Today I had a staff meeting. So Dave watched the kids, Dave does such a good job at capturing life as we see it. This is just funny, Sarah has a tight hold of Jonathan. And just so you know Sarah tries to get everything in her mouth that she can. Watch closely to what Sarah is doing at the end. It is hilarious! I think that it was about dinner time! I love my kids!

Sarah's first feeding

So Sarah was such about the rice cereal! She is very eager to grab the bowl, but not so sure about it in her mouth! But I am sure she will do better next time!

Our cute girl!
Sarah had her first bitter biscuit this week and just couldn't get enough! It was so fun to watch her. She is ready for cereal, so I will be starting that this week. So watch for pictures!
Jonathan found Dave's hat and he is lovin' it, if you can't see that smile coming out! (This is Dave's dressing job not me)

Bear Lake

Lovin' the pool
We ate in town on the 4th and there was a little show that we stopped at and we splurged and bought this chocolate rice kispy. Jonathan was in Heaven (I wanted to take a picture of him, and when I told him to stand so I could take a picture he sat and ate. I'm not sure if he understands what I am saying. But he is cute here anyway!)
Our cute Sarah bear! She is over 5 Months, I can't believe it!
We rode our bikes into town and found this beautiful rose bush! This was 4th of July!

We had so much fun on our vacation this year! We enjoyed just relaxing and not having to worry about anything! Jonathan's favorite part of the trip was the pool! He just loved it. He kept flipping to his back and splashing! It was so much fun to watch! Sarah's favorite thing was playing with her feet! No Sarah found her feet recently and just love it. Dave and I loved relaxing- swimming, reading, biking, and being as a family!
