Valentines Day

We had a great Valentine's Day!  I had strawberry crepes, it was a great treat for breakfast!  Sarah had fun in school and had a fun party with lots of candy! That afternoon we had a treasure hunt and did and activity at each heart.  We had a dance party, did a craft and play a game!  We all love it!

Gordon

Gordon is our happy boy!  He just loves to be happy and make people laugh!  He can be silly at times.  I get so many compliments about how cute he is, everyone in church just adores him (as we do).  Gordon walks around with a smile and loves to wave at everyone.  He also wants to help and be big like his brother and sister!  Gordon over night learned the word "no" and is defiantly a two year old!  He sleeps for 12 hours and is a early riser, so we have been putting him to bed early.  Gordon is learning new phrases to say all the time.  He started to sing twinkle twinkle in the car the other day. Gordon loves to play with Sarah and Jonathan but has a hard time sharing and doesn't like to be picked up! Gordon is good at following directions, but also good at saying no!  Gordon loves to lead music and say prayers.  He loves sleeping in a big boy bed!  Gordon adores Henry! He LOVES showers, and anytime someone is getting in he thinks that he needs to get in also! Gordon has started to look at books on his own, and can count to three. He can loves one of Sarah's toys and loves to push the ABC song and sing with it! Gordon is not a fan of nursery, he cries for five minutes in the corner and then after 5 minutes gets up and plays and is good for the rest of the time! We just love our Gordon!

Sarah's Birthday

My wonderful Sarah Bear is 5 years old!!  She had a wonderful Birthday!  She didn't go to school that morning and went to a dance class that our friend teaches that the church, and her friend violet was there.  She was so excited and just LOVED it, and then we came back and Daddy took her sledding (thanks to Amanda) and she just had a blast!  Then when they were gone, Jonathan helped me frost (and he helped Daddy make the cake).  Jonathan wanted to do hide and seek with her cake, since on his 5th Birthday we did that for him and he thought it was the greatest!  So we did it, and Sarah LOVED it too!
She found her cake in the laundry room!
After lunch Violet came over to celebrate!  They just love playing together!
We sang Happy Birthday and blew out a candle on a cupcake!
Then I painted there finger nails, and they each hand different colors on there hands.  But the were matching! Then they did some puzzles and they were ready to play house.  Then at the end  we put candles on her cake and opened presents!
The day before at preschool they sang to her and gave her a crown!  This year was the first year that she was really into her Birthday and want to have a tangled cake, and have her friend violet come over!

She got a sleeping bag from Grammy and Papa, and was just thrilled.  She has been sleeping with it and cant wait to go camping this summer!
Our happy little Henry!
Gordon! :)
She was so excited for her diaper bag!  And so was everyone else!  It made me happy, and it all worth it!

We decorated with Rapunzel's hair! (Thanks Katie)
At dance class, and jumping over Rapunzel's hair!
Sledding with Daddy!
I don't have a picture, but for dinner Sarah asked for Pancakes and Sausage!  She had a great day!

Jonathan lost his first tooth! Jan 31

One morning last week Jonathan woke up and his tooth started to get very lose.  So e wiggled it, but didn't want us to touch it.  Well, by Thursday at dinner it was sticking up a lot and he was complaining (A LOT), so I told him that I would just do one little push.  Well, sure enough it was more like a little touch and it was out.  He was scared and then just happy it was out!  The tooth fair came to Jonathan's room and left 50 cents!

Enjoying life in MN

Jonathan has really been enjoying puzzles these day!
 Sarah getting her second medal!
Jonathan working on his Narina lapbook, he was just loving it.  He told me that he wanted to save his lapbook so he could show it to his kids!
Sarah came home and wanted in on the fun, so she colored the front page and was thrilled.  Sarah can now count to 13, and can identfy s, a and r.  I am very proud of her little steps.  I think that she is really enjoying school.  Which makes me happy, although when she gets home and I am still working with Jonathan she wants to do school with me too!
We made turkish delights like Edmund ate in the book!

Jonathan gave them a thumbs up!
Sarah I don't think cared for them!

Gordon's 2nd Birthday!

Everything ready for the next morning (although the cake wasnt)

Everyone excited for a new toy!

That morning we went to a the movies.  Every Saturday they have a free movie!  We stayed for a bit and then went and visited Daddy at Costco!
After naps we played with the nerf guns!
After dinner we sang Happy Birthday!
 Blowing out the candle!
Gordon loved blowing out the candle, and kept signing more!
 It was really cute!
Henry was there too, in his cute outfit!
Mommy and Gordon!  Yes he loves his thumb!
 Enjoying gifts!

Yummy Cake!
Gordon continues to be a Happy Boy! He loves to try and do things by himself.  He has learned "NO" which has changed things a bit.  Gordon does like to explore, but does love to help.  And loves to see what I am cooking in the kitchen!  Gordon loves to cuddle and give hugs to everyone!  Gordon loves to sleep on the bunk bed, and just loves to feel like a big boy!  We love you Gordon!
