Update!

I feel like it is a time for an update! I have had a hard time getting back in the swing of things after coming back from my trip- hence the lack of blogs! I have some random pictures of the kids!
Their has been a lot of lazy happening! This was one afternoon, Sarah was acting like she was napping and I thought it was cute so I ran to get the camera, but Jonathan didn't want to miss out so he layed right down next to her!
This past week I was getting ready and the kids wanted to be in with me. So they went and got stools or booster to watch me!
Our little Sarah bear, can you tell she just woke up? Well, Sarah will be 2 on Sunday I can't believe it, but then I can cause it seems as though she is 2 now cause her independence and wanting to big shine through in everything that she does. Sarah hates to have a wet diaper, so much that when I come get her in the mornings so is naked or naps too. Two weeks ago she was in nursery and the Zach come and got me cause they thought that she needed a diaper change. When I walked in she got off the chair and was signing potty and saying potty to me (they told me that she was trying to take off her clothes and diaper). However, potty training is not close since she has hard time communicating that she needs to go and she won't sit on the potty to go (a few times she will and actually go, a few times I have tried her on the big potty to try to go but she is too scared). Sarah just LOVES her brother and loves to play with him- they are great buddies. So much that Sarah won't let me put on her coat she wants Jonathan to do it. She is doing great at getting out of the car and going over to Jonathan's side of the car and holding his hand to go in the store. Sarah LOVES babies, but real ones. She loves Joesph!!! When ever she she see him she wants to hold him and when she does he is just as big as her- but she is in HEAVEN and doesn't want to let go of him. Sarah loves to put on makeup, she wants to put on makeup when I am getting dressed, or when her cousins are. She thinks that she is so BIG. Sarah continues to work with a speech therapist, which we are trying to work with her increasing her size of her words. We are also going to try a new therapist because Sarah really isn't responding to her anymore. Sarah is very strong willed and she will only do something if SHE wants. So if I say say "cracker" or whatever it maybe she will just shake her head no. Sunday was the first time that Sarah has learned to get out of her crib on her own. Jonathan came in and woke us up, since we have 1 o'clock church. I could see that Sarah lights where on and no noise coming from her room but noise in the kitchen. Then I told Dave that Sarah is in the kitchen, he said no she isn't she can't get out of her crib! But then Sarah come walking into our room a few minutes later! It sure did make me laugh! (I am use to going and getting the kids up when i am ready for them to get up- I guess that luxury is gone!). Eating is a hard thing with Sarah, not that she doesn't like to eat. But Sarah would rather grab something and walk around doing something else. So that is a struggle in it self, a work in progress! Sarah enjoys her one on one time that she gets with Daddy when Jonathan goes to school, she loves to go to story time at the local library.
Jonathan! We sure love our little boy! The newest thing with Jonathan is that he can spell his name "JON". This past week Dave picked him up from preschool and Dave asked Jonathan what he learned from school and he said "JON", Dave said what and he said it again "JON". It made laugh, cause it was so great that he can spell his name. He loves for me to spell his name, and he will say the letters of his name randomly well I spell it but not in order! Jonathan really likes school, but he doesn't like leaving Daddy and missing the fun things that he does with Sarah. Jonathan enjoys playing with his cousins, but misses playing with Benny and Abby when I practice the piano- so he resorts to watching Monkey George. Jonathan loves to play with his friend Traven and asks to play with him daily. Jonathan loves to play with Sarah, and loves to make her smile and laugh (although he continues to learn that Sarah might have an idea of what she wants to do too). Jonathan loves to ride his wiggle car in the garage and can't wait to for the weather to warm up! Jonathan is now in primary and a big Sunbeam. each Sunday he wants to make sure that I will help him go to class. Last Sunday he cried when I left, but then this Sunday I waited till singing time (since there wasn't a teacher) and he did great and didn't cry at all! Well, I am eager to start Jonathan potty training, but he isn't ready yet. But, he does go on the potty a few times a day. Yesterday at church he said he had to go, and then this morning when we were at the store he said he had to go. So it is coming, but it might not be as fast as I would like. Jonathan continues to watch Monkey George, Word World, he would also like this train one on Disney but I haven't started recording it yet. Jonathan loves to have cereal for breakfast, and loves to pick a treat out if he had eating his dinner or gone potty.
This morning Sarah had a rough morning and so I brought her into our room. Then I got into the shower and Sarah was in the bathroom with us. When I got out. I could tell that Jonathan was up so I opened the door. And all the lights where on in Sarah's room, in the hall, the kitchen. then asked Jonathan was he was doing he said I can't find her. He was looking for Sarah, it was so cute it made me laugh. Jonathan is always thinking about others he will tell me to careful if he thinks something is wrong. He is a great helper. This past week I was getting Jonathan and Sarah ready for bed, so they where going to take a bath. Jonathan ran back to in the hall and then he brought back PJ's for him and Sarah and put them in the family room. And then asked if he could have a kiss, what a cute boy!
I this is my blog book, I am very happy how it turned out. It took a lot of time organizing, editing the book. It is over 300 pages. I debated if I wanted to just do one year at a time, but I think I will keep with the 2 years at a time cause its nice to have them together!
I am not sure what I have been up to, it just seems like life is going by way too fast. I am continuing working. I have started a new song with piano for my recital in April. It isn't really hard, but it is nice to work on technical stuff instead of a really hard piece, and it should be easier to memorize. I am happy to say that I have moved to intermediate now which is actually pretty exciting to think that I am progressing slowly but shirley. Kristi has been trying to teaching me bout the key of couponing and getting all your groceries and household items for under 200 dollars. It is nice to stay on a budget and actually have more food and supplies in the house. Dave and I did a service project this past Friday so that we could go to Disneyland this summer! I am so excited to say that we are going camping on the beach and visit my home town and going to Disneyland! I am very excited for this because I want Disneyland to be magical for my kids cause it wasn't for me!
Dave is busy with school once again! He is taking more classes so that he can get his Social Studies Composite. Trying to find a job weighs on his mind, but I try to tell him that we will do everything that we need to and then trust Heavenly Father that he will direct us. He is working at Costco and adjusting to the front end- although he still would like to go back to the pharmacy (I wouldn't mind it too so that he could be at home closer to 7:30- but I am thankful for a job that pays well). Dave continues to read books on his free time, watch sports, facebook, look for jobs, be a good Father and Husband.

I just adore your kids. We'll have to do a little something special on Sunday for Sarah! Where did you get your book done at? Blurb?

Yep I did it at blurb, it seems like the best price for how many pges you get!

Shirlene! Wow, you always keep so busy. I don't know how you do it. You are amazing. It was fun to read the little stories about your kids. They are all so different.

I want to see your book! And see how it came out. I am debating which platform is more user friendly!
