| That night after the funeral we had a family meeting and said goodbye to those that were their...then we had our last of swig before we left with the adults...then we packed up the next morning and then for lunch at café Rio...we got together with Jeff's family, Kristi Jason Emily and JJ, Leslie and Dan, and Mom. It was nice and JJ and Gordon had a ball while they waited for the food. It was really really HARD saying goodbye and moving on from this phase of life. We stopped at swig since we promised him his own cookie! Then we started our 20 hour drive...we drove through the night...and got their first thing in the morning...we arrived to a mowed and weeded front lawn area, clean house, goodies, dinners and groceries in the fridge...I felt so much love from my friends here...it was much needed and so thankful! |
