Sarah

Our Sarah Bear, what to say what to say! Sarah is growing so much and wanting to be big just like her brother!! Sarah loves to play with Jo Jo. The other day Sarah and I went over to their house to get something. Jo Jo was sitting in his high chair eating and when he saw Sarah he started to complain cause he wanted Sarah to some talk to him. But Sarah wanted to go play in the play room. Soon Jo Jo started to cry and got very upset. He wanted Sarah to come talk to him, soon Sarah did and he was quiet and just watched her. They are true buddies. Sarah's other buddy is Kaitlyn. Sarah loves to play with her. A few Saturday ago we were at Grammy and Papa's. And Craig and Kaitlyn was there, I was soon done with what I needed to do. But Kaitlyn wanted Sarah to stay. So I said okay, and I would pick her up later. While I said goodbye and Sarah would say "Bye". Then when I would turn away to leave she would start to cry. I would come back and hug her and say goodbye, and she would say goodbye and be fine till I turned around and started to leave. So we did this till I got to the car, and then I decided that Sarah just wasn't ready to be left to play yet. We left, but that made Kaitlyn very upset cause she wanted to play with Sarah.
Sarah loves to cuddle with Dave or me at nights. A while back Dave was feeling that Sarah didn't really care for him. So he started to put her down at bedtime, and sing and tell stories. There relationship has really grown! Sarah starts asking about Daddy about a half an hour before Dave is suppose to get home from work. She just loves to give him hugs when he get home. Sarah likes to ask for Daddy during the day, and I will tell her that he is at work. And then she will say Costco, and I will say yes. Then she will say money, and I will say yes he is making money for us.
Sarah loves to play with Jonathan, Sarah doesn't like to be put down for naps and have Jonathan play or watch shows. She wants to be big. Naps I think are starting to fad especially when we are attempting to transition them to bunk beds in the same room.Sarah loves to have her purse/baby doll or make-up. She is defiantly a girl! She loves to put babies in Baby Sisters car seat. We will see how Sarah does when baby sister comes!Sarah enjoys going to the little gym with PEEP to help with her gross motor skills. Her language is improving all the time and she is saying more and more words all the time! I knew that she would explode with words like Jonathan did! Sarah hates to have her hair done or even brushed, so I think for her birthday she is going to go to the Salon and get her hair cut so I don't have to put it up a lot! Sarah loves to go to Papa and Grammy's house. Sarah has a real love for G Grandma. She loves to sit on Grandma's lap and loves that Grandma will feed her on Sundays- cause it is always better on Grandma plate. Sarah loves to help Mommy clean, although it is hard at times cause she does get in the way, but I have to remember that I am teaching her. Sarah wants to be big too! She is continuing learning to set the table and put the silverware away. Sarah loves to be by me when I try and practice the piano, she has found a little stool to sit on next to me! The last picture is Sarah practicing the piano and singing! Sarah is very compassionate and loves to give love! We love our Sarah!

Jonathan

Oh how I love this boy! I mean you can't look at this picture and not laugh?

Jonathan is learning so much these days! When I got for my jog in the morning, the kids our in the trailer, we pass lots of animals on the way. We talk about what the cow gives us and the chicken and when it came to the pig he would say pancakes. But know he get it and say bacon. But it was pretty funny the first few times he said it. Jonathan loves animals, one time on our run we say a turtle in the pond area, it was pretty neat. But the next day we were reading scriptures (I read a word and Jonathan says it), and I read "upon" and then Jonathan say like where the turtle lives! Dave and I couldn't stop from laughing it was so cute!!!!
Jonathan loves people! He loves to play with kids and thinks that each day he should go over to a different house to play. Jonathan loves to play with Nate and Grace (they are so great to ply with him since they are a lot older then him). Jonathan loves to play with his cousins, and is in Heaven!
About two weeks ago I was talking to Nicki, Jonathan has a great memory- and he remembers Nicki coming to play with him about 6 months ago. When I was on the phone, he said that he was going to play with Nicki tomorrow. Well, the next day Dave and I went on a Date and Jonathan had in his mind that Nicki was coming to play. So when I babysitter came over, he was not happy at all cause he wanted Nicki to play!
Jonathan continues to love to read and loves to be read to, especially Annie and Jack - and Curious George! Jonathan loves to look at books on his own and find new things about them. Jonathan is learning to read the word "a" in the scriptures and loves to point out "a".
Jonathan has become a great little helper. He does great at setting the table and doing his "responsibilities" that are his. He does great at putting the dishes away and doesn't like Sarah to help him. Jonathan knows the routine of getting ready in the morning- eat breakfast, go potty, get dressed, and brush his teeth. I love when I ask him to do something and he says "Sure". It just makes me happy when he is so willing.
Jonathan loves watch Backyardigans/Curious George/mickey mouse club during quiet time, and wishes that he could watch more T.V. if Mommy would let him. Jonathan is so excited to have bunk beds in his room- like Lydia and Lacey (that what he says). Jonathan's appetite has increased and he has started to eat better overall! He also loves being four, and loves to tell me 'cause I am big'. Jonathan is still learning on trying to be a good friend, and what is funny and what is obnoxious. I love that he is so willing to learn.
Jonathan favorite part about preschool is scripture story time where we talk about different stories in the Book of Mormon. He especially loves when he hears something we have learned in preschool and during church, scripture study or family home evening!
We love a big boy!

Updating!

Well, I know that it is long over due for an update of our family so I will attempt a little tonight and finished tomorrow, since I worked a 12 hour shift and am helping Dave get the bunk beds back in the kids room!
So I have a long list of the things that I wanted to make for baby girl #2 (we don't have a name yet so I just call her baby girl). I started with the hardest, making the car seat cover! It was very difficult, but Kristi and my Mom helped me through it. I am glad that I did, but if you ask me if I would do it again- only for Kristi! I do think it is way cute! Kristi made the cute diaper bag for me as a gift and I love it! Don't you love how I will be coordinating with the baby!!!
Then yesterday I finished the canopy cover since it will be in the dead of winter when she is born!
I know that I haven't put any pictures of me lately, but I am feeling HUGE these days and I have three more months. When I think about how much bigger I am going to get, it makes me want to cry. Since my Grandma even says I am HUGE, but my Grandpa tells me I look healthy! Thanks Grandpa. I am still running. I am not in a hurry for her to some cause we have lots still to do and make. The only thing that is the hardest is the heartburn!!! But I know that the very tried stage is to come, so I am trying to get my projects done. This next week is a really cute quilt!!
I am still working less then part time. We are continuing to do preschool, some weeks are harder then others, but I enjoy it! We took the house off the market, so I don't just have to clean all the time. Which is so nice! You might wonder why we took it off? Dave and I felt like it was the right thing for us, and to refinance to get a better interest rate- so our payment our better.
Dave is doing great at Costco, and is a great marketer! Both of us really enjoy the company and the benefits that it provides for us! Dave is trying to move up in the company. Little by little, he will be starting a season supervisor position in about a week which is a start! Dave continues to read tons, and is excited for the next book in the series he is reading to come out on Monday! Dave also keeps busy with things around the house, and being a great Daddy!

Carving Pumpkins

On Tuesday we craved Pumpkins as a family! The kids painted theirs and Dave carved the big one!
Sarah did great at painting her pumpkin!

Jonathan wanted to help Daddy take out all the guts!

With his slimy hands, teasing his sister!
Our end products!
Happy Halloween!

Last of the Celebration this year

On Sunday night we went over to my parents for Sunday dinner and celebrated Jonathan's Birthday one last time! He blew out the candle one last time for his four Birthday, which he had a really hard time doing.

Then we all watched Jonathan open his presents from Grammy and Papa, G Grandma and Grandpa, and us.
Sarah just adores G Grandma
Jonathan was pretty excited about this gift!
Jonathan just loves books!!! He had to look all the way through the book and then he would go and eat cake!

Jonathan loves his new pillow and pillow case from Grammy and Papa. The first thing he did was throw his old pillow on the ground and put his knew one on the bed. It was rather cute! (Yes, and we are attempting to put the kids in one room and that is another post in itself!)

The Celebration!

Saturday is the day we celebrated Jonathan's Birthday! Jonathan choose to get doughnuts for his treat! He LOVES doughnuts! We went for breakfast on Saturday prior to the party! Look at that smile it is just priceless!
We all loved them too!
Our little Krispy Creme
When we came back we did some finishing touches to get ready for the party! Then it hit Jonathan, he thought that I forgot to make his fire engine cake, he was worried. But then Dave brought it out as a surprise and he loved it! I had a hard time making it and making it look good, but Jonathan just loved it and that is all that mattered to me!
Brother and Sister!
Ready for the guests to arrive!
They all arrived, don't they look so cute with there hats!
We played one game and then headed up to a fire station at the adjacent city from us! We are thankful for the help of Grammy so that we could get on the kids there safely! Fireman Dunn showed us around the firehouse, and then put on the gear! It was very interesting to us all!

Teaching the kids to drop to the ground if there is a fire and that
he would be coming in like this and to not be scared and to go to the light!
Then since Jonathan was the Birthday boy he got to try on the gear! At first he thought it was really cool!
Then it started to be really heavy and weight more then him!

But he put a smile on for the me!
Isn't he cute!
Then we got into the ambulance and he talked about the role of the ambulance, since the the fire engine wasn't back from a call yet! And Benny was waiting for his IV!
It finally came!
The kids all where able to get up into it!
Then they got to try out the fire hose! They would have let them spray it, but some of the kids got scared when the fire engine came into the station and the fire hose is just as loud or maybe louder! But they enjoyed hold it and pretending to be firemen!

Isn't she just a cutie, like her shirt says!!
I had to show you how Luke held the hose and then
How Benny holds the hose, like a bazooka- while at least that what came to my mind!
Enjoying jumping in the puddles! Look at Abby's face! Love it!
Little Sarah, enjoying being held by her Daddy! Not sure about everything!
Then we headed home!
Dave prepared this cute game about the kids being fireman and women and saving the animals!
Our Big Four Year Old! Ready to sing Happy Birthday!

Then they opened presents! Jonathan was in Heaven once again!

That night we went to our ward Halloween carnival, and Jonathan wanted to do the game eat the doughnut off the string!

However, he just wanted the doughnut!
Enjoying!
Smiling for the camera, Sarah was done it was a busy day!
Happy Birthday Jonathan!
