Sarah's Up to no good!

This is my independent girl trying to get dressed by herself!
Sarah has learned to get out of her crib successfully- no falls or anything! This equals - up to no good! Well, she started to get out of her crib at bed time but then we put a child poof lock on the inside of her door and she gave up. Then for naps she usual will stay in her room and then get out when she is done sleeping. Well, today she didn't sleep she played for an hour. And the reason I know this is because I heard this terrible hurt cry and found Sarah trying to open up her closet and in trying she pinched her finger. I have tried to put things away that I thought would hurt her or not be good. Well, she calmed down and then I put her in her crib and it didn't take long for her to fall asleep. Later I thought it was time to wake them up, well Sarah wasn't sleeping. She had got a Pampers wipes container that wasn't opened and still had the wrapping on it and every wipe was out of the box! She just made me laugh, and I thought she was sleeping! I should have known better! I should have taken a picture but I didn't! Oh well!

Jonathan enjoying Preschool

These are some pictures from Jonathan's school blog. These are a few of the things that Jonathan has been doing and learning at school! At the bottom is a little video of one of the latest things he has learned (I will try again later I can't get it to post)!

Sarah just LOVES BABIES!

Sarah JUST LOVES babies! Every time she sees Joesph she thinks that she needs to hold him!!! This past week the cousins came over and immediately Sarah wanted to hold him, although he is not much smaller then Sarah! Now that Joesph can sit it makes it easier, she sat down and then Joesph sat in front of her and she was in HEAVEN!
Giving Loves!

I had to include this cute picture of Sarah sleeping with her new pillow. She hasn't had a pillow before, but for her Birthday Grammy gave her a cute pillow case and pillow. Sarah loves her pillow and most of the time we check on her she is sleeping on it!

Sarah

Sarah Bear Getting ready to eat her marshmallow snack before she went outside to play! (oh and I needed to to the dishes and there weren't any small bowls)

I just loved these pictures! She is so cute!

Snowshoeing!

On Presidents Day we went snowshoeing up at Aspen and it was so much fun! We went with Kristi and Jason this year, and they loved it too! We had lots of fun making out own trail. I brought our semi broken camera and I lost some pictures, which were some of the guys skiing down the hills on snowshoes (which I am bummed).

We then hot hot cocoa and donuts! Jonathan loved it. Sarah stayed home with Grammy and Papa and was content playing by herself and being the center of attention.
It was a stormy that day, and the roads where icy and on our way home through the canyon we saw this terrible accident. But, no one was hurt, but it really shook me up.
Finally we got to Papa and Grammys and had Chili, and then we headed off to see "Princess and the frog". Jonathan loved eating popcorn (we brought microwaved popcorn) and watching a movie on the big screen. When we were leaving Jonathan wanted to know if we were going to do it again tomorrow. :) The movie had its good points but overall I didn't like the voodoo guy and his spirits. At one point Jonathan got scared and wanted to hold my hand.
That night we went with my parents and Kristi's family to dinner to celebrate Dads Birthday! It was fun to be together! It was a long fun day! We missed Dave the second part of the day cause of work, but at least we could go snowshoeing together!

Making Valentine Treats for Daddy!

We started making the chocolate dipped Strawberries, Jonathan was in charge of putting the sprinkles on the strawberries. although he was more interested eating them or tasting the chocolate.
I let him dip one, and he was so excited!

What a cute boy!

Of course we had to try them!
And they were GREAT!
We also made Oreo truffles and Sarah loved licking the left overs!
(She finally woke up from her nap! )

What a cute face!

Dave's Valentine Gift (I did add a few hearts to make it a little cuter).
I am excited to use our new down pillows!

Opening there first Valentine'

Grammy and Papa gave them there Valentine' today and they could wait to open them up! Jonathan loved his Doggy!

Welcoming Momma Home!

Look sweet kids, excited to see Mommy!

Yesterday, my sweet husband cleaned the house and had dinner on the table! Man, does that put a SMILE to my face very quick! This was one of his Valentines gifts to me- he sure knows what I like!

Whats going on!

This past week we made a valentine necklace! They both were pretty excited bout it at first, but lost interested very fast!

As I have said before they just love this little table. This is them eating dinner, they even prayed! It was so sweet, although Jonathan scolded Sarah cause he had already prayed and she was praying!

Sarah is TWO!

My Sarah is TWO! It is hard to believe, but then it isn't! I am so thankful for my Sarah she is so cute and loves to cuddle. But loves to show her independence much of the time these days. I think back to when we found out we were going to be expecting Sarah- I was terrified and uncertain how I would be able to take care of two little one and continue to support my husband and put him through school. Heavenly Father is all knowing and knew what our little family needed. Sarah needed to come at that time to bring such sweetness and love into our family. He knew what I could handle, and before she was six weeks old, Sarah was sleeping through the night, she was such a good baby. I do know that this was a sweet blessing from him above. Sarah now just adores her brother and loves to play with her buddy. She loves to be Mommy's helper and loves to give loves to her Daddy! I'm so thankful for Sarah! We love you!
