The Falls

On Saturday I ended up not working and so Dave has been wanting to take our family up to these falls! It took a bit to get up there but it was so nice to beat the heat and enjoy the scenery!

Jonathan loved looking at them!

Jonathan and Sarah!
Sarah wanted to jump in and touch the water! We decided to go each lunch at some picnic tables and by a meadow. I didn't think that lunch would be too relaxing for me if Sarah just wanted to get to the water!
Waiting for lunch!
Enjoying the meadow!
On the way back down the mountain we went to a fish hatchery. We didn't hit the tour but we looked around! Jonathan and Sarah enjoyed the fish. Jonathan really wanted to take a picture in front of the fish! It was a nice day as a family, and then that night we went to a BBQ with some old friend which was fun!

My Sarah

Cute Sarah!

Just a few cute pictures of Sarah! She is my little toddler, she toddles everywhere now! No crawling for Sarah! She just wants to be big and independent like her brother. She wants to walk in the parking lot to go into stores and also without holding hands- giving me the attitude of I am big enough I can do it myself! I can't say I know where she gets that from :) Yesterday for Breakfast I gave her some cereal with milk in it and she did great! She just ate it, without dumping it everywhere! She did great with the spoon! Sarah is doing really well at me telling her a simple direction and doing it. One of the things that I love is that for naps or bed time I will say "Sarah its bedtime, go to your crib" and she will walk all the way to the crib and put her hands up on the bars. But the moment I pick her up she will start to cry! Sarah is great at giving little tantrums every time she doesn't get what she wants, so we are working on time outs trying to see if we can stop this super fast! We also are trying to work on not screaming out at church, so we are working on that in FHE which is a big chore. Thankfully Jonathan is doing great at church and can get all the way through the sacrament part with out toys and food and will sit semi quiet.
This above picture is Sarah ready for church! I found these bows that matched this dress at a garage sale and I was thrilled that they matched! I have been waiting till Sarah walked to wear this dress, so yesterday was the day! I thought she was the cutest girl at church! I am going to get her 18 month pictures in this, but she got a bug bit on her cheek yesterday once that is healed then we will go!

Water is so much fun!

Playing with the hose! There is something about the hose and water with my kids at this age!
Just Drinking some water!
After all the fun; it was time to get in the bath and get clean!

Happening

I know that it seems soon to be pulling out Halloween. But, last year when I started in September thinking about it. It was just crazy busy and I told myself to start to think about it at the end of August! Well, I pulled out our costume box. They just love wearing the tiger. Jonathan will wear it a few times a day, I think it is way cute. Sarah just laughed and loved the face of the tiger. Don't be surprised if you see Sarah in something very similar as last year!
Jonathan is holding is Halloween bag, and he gets it this year. Last year he didn't understand the concept of trick or treat. He will ask me randomly if I have candy, hoping that he gets some. I just keep telling him you have to wait for Halloween. When we went over to Papa's tonight and he brought his bag, and he told Papa about getting candy when he goes trick or treating (in his fast excited talk).
We went to the Children's museum on Friday. It was been awhile and I wanted to do something fun. We went with a friend of mine, and we enjoyed going with someone! It was a total different experience cause Sarah can WALK! Which she loves! She loves to go where she wants! Sarah enjoyed learning how to put the ball in this contraption!

Having fun!
There cute baby!
Enjoying a ride!
Jonathan enjoyed the farm this time, from the chickens to picking the vegetables in the garden!
We enjoyed lunch on the top with the helicopter! Marshall LOVED the helicopter, Jonathan likes to just look at it more then anything! He gets scared of the noise the helicopter makes!

Enjoying watching a worker build something!

Enjoying herself! Doesn't she look so big these days!
I had my surgery that night. It was a little traumatic, I know next time I need iv sedation instead of just local. I have had bad experiences with dentists; he explained everything he was doing and then he started to shave a little of my tooth away. Then the tears started to come and I got very anxious. The periodontist had to stop telling me what he was doing and they turned up the music loud! I am doing pretty good. I found that I do better off the percocet cause it makes me too loopy and tired! It is hard to eat, but I am managing. I eat a lot of tomatoes!
Dave started student teaching this past week. He starts to teach tomorrow, he has a full load! He is anxious to just be a teacher of his own class. I tell him it will happen soon enough! It is a new adjustment for him to wake up real early- but I am sure he will adjust to it!

Sweet!

This morning after I got Jonathan dressed he went outside to play, and then I got Sarah dressed. Then I hear Jonathan calling for Sarah and I came to see what he wanted? He had picked ll these dandelions and he said "These for Sarah". I thought it was so sweet, Jonathan is such a good big brother! Jonathan got an eval with the early education program today, he did very well and probably won't make it into preschool, which has it's pros and cons. It surprises me how much he knows!

Enjoying being with each other!
This morning when I got Sarah up. She was as happy as can be. She likes to say hi and wave t anything and everything. So she pointed to the picture of Jesus on the wall and started to wave and say hi and then giggle. It was so cute. Sarah is doing better and better at folding her arms for prayer. What a sweet girl!

Annual Sisters Weekend!

This past weekend we had our annual Sister weekend! We headed up to Bear Lake on Thursday and had our wonderful husband take care of our kids! Prior to leaving to went over to Cafe Rio for lunch with all the families that dropped us off! We love Cafe Rio, so both Dave and I were happy about that! Then we went over to Roberts to pick up some craft paper we liked for our journals! It was so nice to caught up in the car and talk about everything and anything. It was nice not to interrupted by our little ones!
We enjoyed doing our craft cause we knew that we won't have time at home to do it! Some made them for there kids and others for themselves. It was relaxing for some, but for me I seem to stress out wanting it to be perfect! Oh well, I think it turned out cute!
We enjoyed talking!
Sisters!
The weather was so nice, it was a little winding (nothing like June)!

My finished products!
Joseph was so sweet and did so good!
Sweet Boy!

On Saturday we went into town and enjoyed some wonderful pizza and traditional Raspberry shakes! We enjoyed getting away, but I was ready to come back to be with my family. We missed a few, hopefully next year we will be all together!
Thanks everyone for the fun weekend!

What an awesome Dad!

Once a year I get to spend a few days with my sisters, sister in laws and Mom; my husband is wonderful and stays home with the kids so I can relax and enjoy myself! Jonathan was so excited to be with Daddy. On Thursday he asked Daddy if he was going to play with him!
What a great Dad, playing with his kids in the sand box! I love you!
Well, our ward was having a ward campout and Dave decided it would be fun to take the kids and then come back and sleep in there own beds! Well, he called me right before they were supposed to leave and said Jonathan wanted to camp (I think that Daddy really wanted to too!).
Jonathan loved it! He found lots of friend to play with!
Sarah enjoyed the cookies!
This is one of Jonathan's friends in nursery. He loves to play with Ashby, but seems to fight with him all the time! One time Ashby came over with his Dad when Jonathan was in bed, and when they left Jonathan wasn't asleep and he called me in his room. He asked me if Ashby was there- he knew Ashby's voice. I thought that was pretty funny!
It rained while they were camping, but they braved through the rain!

Another friend Jonathan found to play with, what a cutie, huh!

Enjoying roasting his marshmallow!
This is when all the fun began (that's what Dave tells me)! They didn't fall asleep till 2 am. Dave was ready to go at 2 am, but it would have been too much work without me there, so he struck it out! He said it was an experience of a lifetime!
Jonathan in the morning ready to go and have fun bright and early!

Eating Breakfast!
Walking more and more!
Playing!

What a good Daddy hang in there till the end!
Sister Weekend post to come!
