An Early Thanksgiving

So this weekend we celebrated Thanksgiving with Dave's side (we either celebrate the weekend before or after Thanksgiving) at our house, which has many pros and cons to- but I would have to say the pros out weigh the cons. We enjoyed lots of food, games, playing with cousins, and just hanging out!

Little Sarah taking care of her baby!

They were very intrigued with watching Becky put on her makeup!

Done!

Dave is done with his student teaching!! Wahoo! We are so excited! Dave is ready for the next step! We are both glad he is done so that Dave can start working again!!! (Maybe more me to help relieve some pressure). Also so he can work on an endorsement to help him be more desirable to be hired. I think Dave is most excited for is to have his own class and to be able to handle his own class the way he wants! I am proud of you sweety!

Sarah

Enjoying her yogurt!
Don't you just love that smile!
Playing at the children's museum!
Loves hats!
Our Princess
I guess last time Lindy saw Sarah she wasn't walking cause she kept saying "Baby walking". Lindy was having fun holding Sarah!
Cuddling up!
Sarah loves to be pushed, what a good Papa!
What to say about my sweet Sarah! She has so many moods! I currently love when she wants to just cuddle on my shoulder. She has started wanting a blanket and then to be held! At times its hard cause I want to fix dinner or get ready, but I try to remember that this will not last long and she will be in a new phase! Sarah's words are staring to increase. One of the ones that I love it "uh oh". She says it often and it makes me smile. She is starting to say "Daddy" and "Momma" more pronounced and especially when we put her down for bed. Sarah has her fare share of tantrums, which I personally could do without!!! But, we are trying to be consistent and put he in time so she understands this is not acceptable! I know this too will pass! Sarah is done with the high chair! She now sits at the table and she personally LOVES it! She feels like a big girl, and we have found that overall she eats better at the table (not always)! Sarah loves to dress up and put anything on! Sarah loves pumpkin, she loves to point them out. At Papas she loves the small ones cause they are just her size and she can bring them where ever she wants! Sarah love to choose, she feels like a big girl! If you can't tell Sarah wants to be BIG! Sarah continues to hate the car seat, and I don't know if that is something she will get over! She loves to play with Jonathan and loves when Jonathan mimicks her. She just laughs! We love our Sarah Bear!

Jonathan

Jonathan is learning and growing so much! He is very excited about life and what each new day brings. Jonathan is now so excited about Santa and Santa coming. The other day Jonathan at dinner told Sarah that she needed to eat her dinner so Santa can come! It sure made me laugh out loud! Jonathan is so sweet to Sarah and very concerned with her. On Sunday Sarah was wearing a new dress and Jonathan's first thing he said was that "She is a princess". He is such a sweet boy! Jonathan loves to play with his cousins. Jonathan loves to go to school, he has started saying random letters and numbers. Jonathan loves to read, he will be in his room till I come get him in the morning. This morning he was looking at a book, I asked him what he was reading, he said "Kids". Jonathan loves kids. Jonathan has started to become more independent and can start putting on his own shoes (sometime he needs help with the right and left) which is so much help. He also can clip himself into the car seat (the first clip) this also helps me so much! Jonathan has started to eat more this past week and it is wonderful- he ate two eggs for breakfast! I hope he keeps it up! Jonathan loves when Daddy gets home so that he can run and play with Daddy- he likes to say "Come get me Daddy"! We love having Jonathan in our family, he brings so much joy to us!

Family Photo Shot

On Halloween we took family pictures! We originally were going to just take Jonathan's pictures (for his 3 year old pictures) but we were pretty much ready to take every ones pictures! It was really in the morning. Jonathan did great. Sarah wasn't into it! But the more and more I look at these pictures the more I like them! I love the fall colors! Thanks Kate!

We will be putting some of these on our wall, so you are welcome to give me input on the ones you like!

Happenings

I thought I would update of the few things that we have been up to! After Halloween we have been just recovering doing little projects around the house. Dave has only 2 weeks to go! We are both really antsy for his student teaching to be done and have him making money! There will be a lot of stress off my shoulders since I have been picking up a lot. However Dave has been great with helping me out with things around the house. This week we have been working on canning applesauce (we got apples from a freecycle lady), Dave helped me with peeling to processing. It was such a help. And tonight he went to the grocery store with coupons to get things that were on sale (and I know he really dislikes doing this, but he did it for me) I LOVE YOU Dave!
I finished another banner, can you tell I really like these? It is fun to have something cute and festive around the house. We have been trying to write down something we are thankful for each night, it is nice o reflect. One night Jonathan says he was thankful for being three (and then held both of his hands up with three fingers- he loves being three!). But I have started listening to Christmas music, I love it!
Sarah loves to dress up and has put on the monkey a few times this week! It is rather cute!

Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year! Jonathan has been excited about Halloween since September when I started to make his Monkey costume!
We are about to start the festivities! We were heading over to my parents house for soup and bread!
We stopped at the Bishops house, an they ran up to the door!
Then we stopped at Grandma and Grandpa's, and they were just thrilled to see the kids all dressed up!
After dinner Leslie started to take picture and if you can see Jonathan isn't ready. But he wanted to be in the picture!
Sarah and Mommy!
We were the Curious George bunch!Curious George, The Man in the yellow hat, Professor Wiseman, and the flower!
It was really fun! Earlier that day, Jonathan told me "Jonathan Monkey, Daddy the man in the yellow hat, Sarah flower and Mommy make customs"! He is a pretty smart kid!
They a lot of complements, and even got there picture taken at a house! Aren't they cute!

At we had Carmel popcorn at Grammy's and then we came home!

JOnathan loved the fact that he got candy at every door!
