Growing Gordon!

Our big Boy has grown so much this past year! I think that each baby I have I want them to stay little for so much longer, I believe that I cherished Gordon so much more in that respect cause I wanted to hold onto it as long as I could cause I know it goes so fast! I sure love this little guy, he loves to eat and chatter! He says ma ma all the time! We love you Gordon boo! I was so relieved that you were a little boy after all! We love our little surprise!

Our Big One year old!

Gordon turned one, this past week! We had his party the on Monday because of Dave and I schedule! We enjoyed a little party at our house house of cake and ice cream! (I have realized I like small parties, and not big to do's for Birthdays- just making them special on their big day!)

I saw this idea on a friends blog, so I thought that I would try it! it was rather simple and fast, which I liked that! I thought it turned out cute!
Our Birthday boy!

He did a great job opening his presents, but good thing there was just a few cause he was done fast!

Grammy and Sarah

About to blow out the candle!

He loved the cake, well maybe just the iceing!

Our cute Birthday boy!

Caught up!

That is how life is these days! Just always trying to caught up!

It seems as though we have lots of family breakfast these days! Dave works LOTS of evening, so we miss him at dinner, but we try to enjoy breakfast with him!
Enjoying books together! (Yes Sarah dresses herself).

Gordon watching what is going on outside, just growing up. But hasn't decided to start walking, but I shouldn't expect that with a 19 month old and 18 month old walkers! I anticipate a long time but my earliest walker. Time will tell!

For Birthdays, all the ladies get together for lunch! Well, this year I asked for it as my mom's. I know this is my mom's busiest time of year with her calling; but she figured it out and it was great! I loved it and it was great food, we had a brunch! I love you Mom thanks for all that you do!

Jonathan and I were making pudding! It turned out great, and we used our new pot that my parents gave to us! I love the red!

Happy Birthday!

This year Birthday was a nice relaxing one, I was able to go running and when I came back Dave had made a great breakfast for everyone! Dave had the day off, but we both had work meetings. But that evening we had my parents and Grandma over for Panni's they were GREAT! I decided that we are going to start making it a tradition! Turning one year older just isn't as fun as it is when you are young! I sure felt old this year! But Dave and my parents gave me these CUTE boots, I was way excited! Dave got me this awesome pie, chocolate silk, everyone loved it!

Random

We had a wind Storm a bit a go, and a fence took a beating! Well, we know that we need a new one, but Dave just repaired the little bit for now! Yesterday he finished the fence, it is so nice to have it back up. It feels so much safer! We are so thankful for the help of those that came and saw the need!
We love making breakfast, and the kids love to help. Jonathan was Daddy's helper that day!

All I have to say is Gordon is our EATER! I think that this was chill, his third helping!

Sarah and Jonathan had this idea to make a "treehouse" as they call it! They used tons of tape and colored tons, it kept them happy and busy. So I was happy!

Sarah was the helper for the morning, and she was so pleased!

Sarah enjoying the bath!

The Park in January?

We have been enjoying the warmth, although we would love snow to go snowshoeing (hopefully next year). It is nice to get out on warmer days and be active!

Happy New Year!

We had a nice low key New Years! Except that we had to take Sarah to the ER for stitches, got cut from a can of olives. She was very brave!
