What's going on

My cute little doll! Sarah is growing so fast I can't believe. I think that she will be crawling in no time! She gets up on her knee and just rocks it is so darn cute ( we missed that stage with Jonathan cause he went straight for the army crawl). She is moving herself all over turning and rolling. Today we were with the cousins and she just wants to be with them. After her nap she was so happy that they were there and that she was at Grammy's. She gave this huge smile! Sarah is on her 4th tooth, the top ones which are actually very painful for her. I am trying to feed Sarah however she hates rice cereal, so we have been moving on to bigger and better- peaches. She just loved them! So pictures got moved back to Monday, so that is the big day!
This is one of my projects that I have been working on this week. In Sarah room I haven't had a dresser and so we have been putting things in basket and under her crib. But I found this awesome site http://www.meckmom.com/ the other day on organization and I just loved it! I hate when things are totally messy! She had some awesome solutions!
This is my little spit fire! So Jonathan found this sweater that I was trying to pack away cause it is getting too small (6 months). But he found it and wanted me to put it on. So I did, and it of course fit. He wore it all day in the blazing heat! That's what he wanted!! Jonathan is doing alot better, in Peep this last week we combined with the younger class for singing time and Jonathan was one of the oldest there. And he did so awesome with the songs and signing and doing what they told him. I could defiantly see some growth from him. Six months ago he was were these other kids were. It was a blessing in my eyes to see that he is learning and doing better. His attention span is getting better and his words are just exploding. I love it. I think that Sarah is helping Jonathan in so many different ways. I think there is a reason my Sarah needed to come right now!
I have been off work all week, which has been so nice! I have been busy with working on a smocked dress for Sarah (well during naps and night time). It is a new skill that I am learning. The dress is pale pink, its not prefect but I am learning (if you don't know I am a perfectionist when I make things). When I finish it I will post it. I want to already make another one, so that I can get better. Dave started school this week, and so far it looks okay. However, we haven't got into any of the papers that he will have to do!

Makes me Laugh

I don't have any pictures for these cute stories, but I thought I would written them down so I wouldn't forget them. Yesterday Jonathan just made me laugh!
I was cleaning my shower yesterday during naps. Jonathan woke up early, and instead of crying he would just say "Mama" over and ever again. I just can't leave him in his crib every time that he does this- it just too cute to me. So I though I would just give him his snack and then finish the shower while he was eating. I snapped one of the clips to try to keep him in his booster seat and gave him his snack. Then I was finishing the shower. I could hear him saying "Mama" over and over and then it stopped, I thought to myself I better check on him. A minute later he comes in the bathroom with the biggest grin. He got him self out of the booster and climbed down and found me! It just made me laugh to myself- he is so clever!
Later on I was fixing dinner and Jonathan wasn't listen to me. So he went into time out multiple times (he goes in his crib). One time I walk in to get him and he had thrown out all his blankets and was folding his arms and bowing his head and mumbling like he was praying. I walked in and I said "were you praying that I would come and get you" and he said a big yesss like he does. I just checked to myself!
After dinner, I got Sarah ready for bed. Dave was still at work, and I was nursing Sarah. My phone was ring and I knew it was Dave calling. I could get up at that point. The first time it rang Jonathan stopped what he was doing and started to dance to the phone tone. The next time, Jonathan danced and then tried to find it, and then the third time I told Jonathan that it was on the counter. At this point I could get up, but Jonathan wanted to get it. So he hurried and boosted himself on the chair and then on the counter (needless to say I hadn't cleaned up from dinner so it was a mess) and got the phone before I could- he was very proud of himself!
Jonathan makes the mundane things of life great! He is one of my many blessings!

Don't you love how Jonathan is so happy!
When Jeff and Marcie were in town we took family pictures, which was few weeks ago!

Whats going on!

Eating!
Enjoying my Popsicle!
Playin' in the pool with Austin
Worn out from long day!
Our wonderful kids!
Well, it has been a while since I have posted! It seems that a lot of our extra time is sucked up withe the Olympics! We love watching all the different sports! Yes, I think that Micheal Phelps is amazing! I loved watching gymnastics, swimming, the women's marathon, the women's tri, and all the track event this far. I can say that I love when someone stand for what they believe in and you can see it through there actions. Dave was watching the women's basketball and they were talking about these two women that weren't dressed on the New Zealand team because they don't play on Sunday! Way too go!

Well, Sarah is just growing so much! She is now sitting and doing better and better each day! I know that she loves being upright! She has started on cereal and she is doing a lot better since I have sweeten it up (thanks Kristi). She continues to be chunk, however she is in the 83 percentile now! She continues to love her brother and puts up with all his wrestling that he wants to d with her! She said her first word week or so ago Dada!! It was so cute she has said it twice! She is such a happy girl!

Jonathan is starting to climb again. He likes to climb up the changing table when I'm changing Sarah's diaper. He knows how to open the front door- he has only escaped once! Dave was at Scout camp last week and Jonathan kept asking where Daddy was, I tried to explain to him. But he just didn't get it! He was way excited to have Daddy home! Jonathan's words are just exploding, at least it seems to me. He is starting to use more words theses days. I still at times don't know what he is saying, but it is starting to come! Jonathan loves to wear his hat when ever we go somewhere. He loves his Papa and loves to go visit, he likes to go over to Papa and Grammys house daily! Jonathan is starting to be a real helper. He loves to help me with putting laundry in the dirty clothes, or putting dishes away, cleaning the windows- basically whatever I am doing (he helps as much as a almost 2 yr can- which is ok cause I love his eagerness). Jonathan is a curious little boy that is always on the move!

Like I said before Dave went to Scout camp this past week! He enjoyed going camping and learning knew skills and putting up with 12 and 13 yr old boys (which he does pretty good with). Dave's not looking forward to summer ending and starting school once again (I think he hates losing his free time), but he knows that it is closer to finishing.

I am survived without Dave, yes the kids went to bed at 7 pm. So I could have some alone time! However, both Sarah and Jonathan were very good! I am looking forward to getting Sarah's pictures taken professionally this next week. I worked extra so that we could do it! I will post the pictures once they come back!

My thoughts!

So I was thinking how much Dave has grown and changed for the better since we have had children. Yesterday I had to work, so that means that gets to get the kids ready and go to church by himself, which I can attest that it is not an easy task. But, yesterday I got a call from Dave at 6:30 am to tell me about what just happen with Jonathan and a diaper mishap. How he had to change his clothes and diaper cause he had pee all over and that he was freezing cause he was all wet (besides that fact that he doesn't have any body fat). He was just informing me not complaining! Then we had a family get together and we were supposed to bring a dessert. Dave usually just makes the Brownies from box. But, he had told me when he brought Sarah to feed that he was going to make lemon bars. I can say that I was a little nervous. But, when I got home from work that was the first thing that I tried and they were great. I was very proud of Dave and I know he was proud of himself! I can see that I have changed also for the better also! I know that Dave is trying to be the husband and father with everything that he has on his plate! I love you Dave!
