Enjoying Snow with Daddy!

Dave didn't have to be to work till noon. So he enjoyed his morning with the kids in the snow! What a good Dad!
Sarah didn't last very long! She would rather be the on looker from the inside!
Now that is a good snowman!
Then Jonathan went in the front and started making a fort that turned in a snow cave!

Sarah wanted to be a part of the snow cave! My kids like to eat snow one day they will learn, at least I hope!

That was hard work, but Jonathan loved it. He told me that his favorite part of today was making the Snowman! Sarah agreed!

The snow finally comes!

On Tuesday we had a huge Storm come! That morning I had decided to wake up early and go shopping to get a few last things and to have no kids with me! Well, I woke up tons of snow. I thought that I could plow myself out. But, that didn't work. I woke Dave up to help me, but he then thought that it wasn't a good idea and that I should go cause the rodes would be terrible!
Later we went to Lydia's school for a Christmas program. Kristi picked me up on the way to the school. When we got home, Jonathan wanted to kick the snow. I asked him if he wanted to get the rest of his snow gear on and he said no it's to high!

I was excited for snow cause we really haven't had a big Storm. But I don't like the fact that today it is raining!!! I want a white Christmas!
Later the kids decided that they wanted to go and make a snowman. I tried to find clothes that fit me, but it was a no go. I told Jonathan that and he was so disappointed. So I decided I didn't want to let him down, so I just went out in what I had and knew I would get wet! So this is the little snowman the kids and I made!

Enjoying the snow!

Merry Christmas

On Sunday we took family pictures with the timer and I think they turned out really well! I love this little family of ours and we are super excited to bring another little one into our family! Merry Christmas! We hope that you have a great Christmas and remember the reason for the season!

Sarah

Sarah loves oranges, just like her Mommy!! Sarah loves to have her hair curled like her GG and Grandma! Sarah has been not feeling well, the last few days. She has wanted me a lot and has had lots of tears. Then other night she had a fever and woke up in the middle of the night and was just a chatter box talking non stop. It was actually really funny to hear her talk so much! We love our Sarah Bear!

Going to the Lights

Last week we went up north to see the lights, this is one of my favorite traditions as a family! We first went to Mimi's and enjoyed a great dinner. The kids did great. This is how Jonathan and Sarah entertained themselves while we waited!

Then we went to see Dave's Aunt Debi. It is always a pleasure to see her cause she loves visitors!
Isn't this a cute picture!!!
Then we head more north to the lights, and we surprised the kids by taking the trax! They LOVED IT! It was their favorite part of the night!!
Waiting for the train!

Sarah was so cute, she had he hands in her pocket and was just skipping along. I love when she is happy and content!

The kids started to play in the snow and thought it was great since we didn't have any!

Our family picture, not sure what Sarah was unhappy about!
Playing in the snow! Jonathan and Sarah were very sad to get off the train. They LOVED it once again.

Making Santa Cookies

We continued our Family Tradition of making Santa cookies! Jonathan loved helping me, he kept saying "it's my recipe too Mom" if I was doing too much! Then while I pressed out the cookies- both Jonathan and Sarah were right there helping me or watching me. I let them press out a star or tree so they could decorate those! Then we got together with Papa and Aunt Kristi to finish the cookies. Jonathan enjoyed helping me by putting them in a line and putting them together! It was fun. I think that Jonathan will be able to help even more next year! They were great this year!!

Seeing Santa at the PEEP Party

We went to Sarah's last PEEP activity. Seeing Santa! We ate dinner and they had some carolers, which was so nice. I started to reflect about the program and how it had changed, but how it still was good for Sarah.
Looking at Santa! Not wanting to sit on his lap! Once again.
Jonathan was super excited! And both Sarah and Jonathan were excited to get candy canes from Santa!
Saying hi!

32 Weeks

So the next day after seeing Santa, Emily wanted to take Maternity pictures of me. So here is a few that she took.
Well, I will be 35 weeks on Thursday- but who is counting.
Around 30 weeks I decided that I really didn't like my doctor, I wasn't sure if I should switch doctors so late. But Dr Wolsey had always told me i could come back whenever I wanted. I wasn't sure if I was being emotional or not. Dave said he would support me in whatever I did. I talked with my Mom and sister and they said that if I wasn't happy then to move! Well, after much debate I decided to go back to Dr Wolsey. However still not sure if I wanted to go back to such a large practice. I talked to a girl at work and she used some midwifes in the next city over. I decided that I really wanted to go a different direction this time! So that is what I did. At 32 weeks I changed over to the Nurse Midwifes. Then talking to Kristi more she said that maybe I should go an entire different way by going natural. And she told me to watch this documentary about the "Business of Birthing Babies". Well, after watching that. Dave and I were both on board with going natural. Dave didn't want to wear a Marshmallow suit this time by going into the OR, and I didn't want to have a c-section (I was very close to having one with Sarah). Well, I have started a home study of Hypnobabies and really like it. I have really felt better this past two weeks! And I have had two appointments so far with the Midwifes and have felt that it was a good change for me!

Grandpa's 82nd Birthday!

That night after seeing Santa we had Grandpa's Birthday party/Family Christmas Party. By this time I was exhausted and not really in the mood to take pictures. But at the end I did take a few! We ate dinner, the kids played games. This was a family game below. Making the Dads into Christmas trees. Since Dave had to work we helped Craig's family!

Jonathan really enjoyed himself!
Sarah thought is was funny to watch the Dads get all decorated!

The end result!
Then we had a white elephant exchange!
Sarah couldn't wait to open her gift!
It was a fun party! Happy Birthday Grandpa!
