Adorable 7 Month Pictures

Like I said aren't these just adorable!
He loves to talk, and as you can see he is learning to sit on his own (its all about balance)

Enjoying being outside, although he didn't like being on the grass, so I had to be creative!

Can you see his red hair and his beautiful blue eyes?

As you can see I just like so many of them I couldn't just pick 1 or 2!

Well, last month I went and got his 6 month pictures and I was so disappointed. So this month a decided to use Mom and Dads awesome camera, and see how it goes. Dad let me use it, and before leaving he said you can't use more then 250 pictures. I thought no problem, but when i was taking them you can see there is so much clarity. It was so fun!

Surgery Update

Jonathan had his stint removed this week. I wasn't sure how it was going to go. But all he did was a little squeal! I am glad it is gone cause he would leak all the time cause of the nature of the stint, and sometimes he would scream when we put on his diapers! So life is great once again!

First time Wearing a Hat

Look at that cute face!

Jonathan wore this cute outfit for the first time this week, my good friend Lindsey gave it to us! It is so cute on him, and the planes match his room!
Jonathan wasn't sure about wearing a hat, but he played with it a little but was unable to take it off! (With his fair skin I hope he learns to leave it alone!) Thanks again Lindsey!

Diapering System

We do cloth diapers, and now that Jonathan is eating real food. It isn't that fun changing (plus cleaning ) his diaper. So we got this handy little sprayer from cottonbabies.com. Let me tell you it is wonderful and powerful. Dave installed it yesterday and I love it already!

Jonathan's First Word

This morning Dave and I were getting ready, we put Jonathan in the excersaucer and he was fine. Then after awhile he started to complain, and then he said "MA". Dave said did you here that, I said yeah. And we both got excited, and then he kept saying it throughout the day it is so much fun!
We had wondered whose name he would say first since, he is such a Daddy's Boy- but we can tell were the his true love lies!

Sleeping

Jonathan enjoys sleeping on his tummy and when he goes to bed we put him on his tummy. Well, Jonathan knows how he roll from his tummy to his back. But while he is in his crib he has not rolled. He just cries and waits for someone to get him up. Well, this week he has learned to kick his blanket off and then roll over. But the last few mornings instead of crying he just waits for me to get him and smiles at his Mama when I come in. I think it is really cute! The little achievements in his life make me happy! One step at a time (I need to remember that, when I want him to be sitting on his own and rolling from his back to his tummy cause I know it will make him so much happier to be more mobile!)

Hold on!

Normal Sleeping Position

Jonathan loves to hold onto things! When I am feeding him he will hold my shirt, or watch. Well, this week I was checking on him after I put him down and I found him holding this towel. It was so cute and funny. I took a picture!

Happy Anniversary

Well, I was getting ready for the Day Dave put this out for me! It was very sweet- he got me the quicken program, a cook book, and flowers. I got him a bike helmet and sleeping bag (that he has been dieing to get)!

On May 5th it was our 2nd anniversary! We had brunch together. We stayed around here, since Jonathan was not feeling so hot! We had late lunch together at McGraths it was a lot of fun! Then we went to the mall and went shopping! That night we watched movie and had ice cream! It was fun being together! I love you!

Happy Mother's Day

Its has been a great Day! This is a first mothers day with Jonathan! I remember last year when I was bearing Jonathan I was so overwhelmed at thinking of being a mother! But this year Jonathan is here with me and I love it, I love being a mother and seeing his smile and cute little laugh when we tickle him or throw him up in the air.
Dave made me breakfast- which is one of his specialities and gave me some new shade shirts which was nice! Today is one of the few days that we get to be together, so it has been very enjoyable! I love you sweety!
Church was nice! The men in our ward made us cinnamon rolls and we had milk/juice. One of the men in the ward taught relief society (class with just the women in the church). Then the bishop spoke and he gave us three challenges! I really enjoy the bishop in our ward he is very down to earth and always tries to help us!
Today was a nice sunny day, I took Jonathan out in the backyard and put in the swing- and he loved it he smiled and laughed, I'm thinking he is going to be an outdoors little boy!

Jonathans Big Day

Jonathan had his hypospadias repair (www.pennhealth.com/health_info/surgery/hypospadiasrepair_4.html) today, up at Primary Children. It was a big day for Jonathan, Mom and Dad! Dave gave Jonathan a blessing with the help of Papa last night. This morning I feed him at 4:45 am, then you could have water or dilute till 7:45. But he didn't want it. We checked in at 9:15, they got vitals and quick history and assessed Jonathan. Then we went to the pre-op area and waited for awhile. Jonathan did very well. They didn't bring him back till 11:30 am. We walked down this hall to the surgery area and then gave him to the anthologist. I then got a little teary eyed. Then we went and got lunch and waited in the parent watching room. The procedure was suppost to take about 3 hours. But they didn't have to do part what they thought they might. Dr Snow came and talked to us and he said that everything went well. They soon called us in the PACU, and only one parent could be there at time, so Dave said that I could. So I went back, and he was drinking some sugar water. So I held him and they took some vitals (he hated the blood pressure being taken). Then he was stable. So we took him back to holding. And he did well, very sleepy. I finally feed him and they gave him some pain meds, took out his IV and then we went home. We picked up some meds. He is doing very well, he cries out here and there and wants to be held- but he is doing great for everything that has happened!
