Trying to get caught up

I am so behind in my blogging, I think that the last time I blogged was back in June! So this is a long post to get me caught up! Hope you make it to the end!

1. Sisters Weekend! At the end of June, we went up to Bear Lake and enjoyed our time together! However I never took any pictures and I neglected getting pictures from my Mom! This is the treat that I brought home, they loved it!

2. Playing together! Aren't they so cute with there Sunglasses on!

3. 4th of July! We had a great 4th of July weekend! We enjoyed going to the hot air balloons early in the morning and then have a BBQ that night.

It was rather cold and so the hot air balloons had a hard time getting up into the sky. So Well we waited Jonathan was able to push the leaver that helped bring the air balloon up.

He loved it, this was his face after. So proud!

On Monday we went to the parade and Jonathan just loved, and Sarah enjoyed trying to take care of Joseph.

That night Daddy and Uncle Jason put on a great show for us all, Sarah enjoyed going to different people. She enjoyed it a lot more this year then in the past.

4. Pioneer Breakfast! Jonathan and Sarah enjoyed the ward pioneer breakfast and the various activities!

5. CLEANING- we have been doing a lot of this around our house along with painting and fixing our house up to put it on the market to sell. We finally have it up for sell, not offers yet!

This is my parents steam cleaner that I used on our grout. It was amazing I loved it. If you look on the left corner you can see what the grout should look like!

6. Celebrating Dave's Birthday! We went to Tucanos for Dave's Birthday and really enjoyed it this year!

7. Martins Cove Trek- I was able to go to Martins Cove with my ward as the trek nurse. It was an amazing experience. I am so thankful that I asked to go so that I could have that experience!

8. And most important WE ARE EXPECTING!!!

We are excited to bring another little on into our family! I am due the end of January, and am 15 weeks along. I am feeling a lot better, the month of June was the hardest and am glad that I am in my second trimester! (With everything that has been going on I just haven't been able to get on the blog- I was going to post earlier about it- it just didn't happen).

Happenings

So blogging these days just seems to be on the bottom of the to do list, and with that also reading blogs just doesn't seem to be happening. But maybe life will slow down in the fall and I can get back to normal life! Here are a few things that we have been up to!

Before it got hot here, Jonathan came home after having school lunches and said that he was cold! This is how he decided to get warm!
I painted Sarah's toes and she loved it! She thought they were so pretty and when she saw mine or hers she would say "Pretty". The next day after she got them done, the first thing she did was show Kristi she sat on the ground and took her clogs off and showed her her toes! She was so proud!

Jonathan is SO excited about Disneyland and the Beach!!! It use to be the Beach and then Disneyland, but it has changed! So a few weeks ago we got this magazine in the newspaper for Disneyland and Southern California. Jonathan saw it and fell in love with it! As you can see! This is how Dave and I found him one night after falling asleep. I will find him looking at it when he is suppose to be getting ready for preschool! He is so excited!!!

Jonathan is still working on stay dry through the night. Well, he knows the routine if he does wet the bed. He changes his clothes and then comes and tells me. I usually am to tried to do anything about it so he will climb into bed with me! Dave when he was getting ready for work and I was still asleep!

Happy Fathers Day!

Two Sundays ago we celebrated Fathers Day! I was thrown off cause we were celebrating it at my parents. I didn't look at the calendar or anything, and it didn't occur to me that it really wasn't Fathers Day until at church they didn't say anything to the fathers and then at nursery the song lady said that we will practice this song for next week! Then it hit! Oh, well we enjoyed our own day at our house! And my parents we going to be out of town on the real Fathers Day so that is why we celebrated in the first place early!

Happy Fathers Day!

Dave went out to Texas this past week to take the TexEx examination, so that he can be certified to teach in Texas! He had to take two seperate tests and he PASSED both of them! Dave is well versed in history and he doesn't really have to study that much anymore and he can pass the different exams that he takes! I know that he will be an excellent teacher! Now all we need is to have a high school see the vision that I see!

Dave was able to hang out with Landon and Blake playing the Wii!

Dave enjoyed being with everyone and talking with them and relaxing!

Dave started the tradition of when ever daddy goes away on a trip he comes back with "presents, or treats". Jonathan and Sarah missed their daddy and were glad to have him back. Especially with presents.

This past Saturday we were on the way to pick up Dave from the airport and this was the conversation between Jonathan and Sarah!

Sarah: Uff? (Joesph)

Jonathan: At his house.

Sarah: Why?

Jonathan: Eating dinner.

Sarah: Why?

Jonathan: Don't ask why!

It made me laugh because Sarah learned Why very early because Jonathan asks WHY all the time! I have been trying to explain to Jonathan that he needs to be patience!

Utah Lake Festival Day

Last Saturday Dave took the kids down to the Lake and they had lots of booths, food, activities for the kids, face painting, and lots of free stuff!

Good Friends

Within the last little while Micah and Sarah came into town and we were lucky enough to hang out with them and Sarah's family! We went up the canyon and had hot dogs and roasted marshmallows! It was a lot of fun to see them again and to renew old friendships.
One of Sarah's nieces had a bike and both Sarah and Jonathan loved to ride it!

Memorial Day Weekend!

We went down to St George for Nicki and Dustin's Reception and to see Dave's Mom and some of Dave's friends!

On Saturday morning we hung out at the park!
Then we went to Applebee's and had lunch with Brian and Amber.

Then since it was really hot, we went swimming at Grammy and Papa's hotel pool! At first Jonathan was a little timid, but then he became a little fish and just loved it!

We watch Kristi's kids periodically, and I feed Joseph baby food sometimes and Sarah of course is so intrigued by his food. A few weeks ago after I finished feeding him Sarah wanted to try it out and see what it was all about (although it was all gone).

Oh and by the way, Sarah is pretty much potty trained! She still goes to bed with a diaper at night (which is fine by me). We had a rough time on our trip to St George but after a few days relearning what she needed to do she is doing great! She still only likes to go on the little potty, but she is a champ at holding it and will wait till we get home!
