At the hospital when it all started.....

This is when it all began.  At the hospital and recovering from having Henry, which I felt really well. I took a shower right after birth before going down to my next room. That next morning Dave had a job offer to transfer to a new store in Rochester MN.  It was a lateral move and I didn't want to move on just a lateral move only up.  Dave had three interviews with the hiring manager, after the second interview I told he could keep interviewing but we won't be going for a lateral move.  Well, Dave felt sick when he was going to call and tell the manager. So on Friday, the next day after Henry was born, he got the job.  Dave felt good about it and went to the temple that night and felt like he needed to accept the job.  I didn't want to move, I just cried thinking about moving with Henry being a newborn, away from my family, not making anymore money.  I hadn't prayed about it, so while Dave was at the temple I prayed about it and felt at peace.  Although it wasn't logical in my mind at all.  Well, I didn't want to talk about it- hoping that maybe it wouldn't happen.  Well, Sunday we had made the decision to go forward with faith and do it!  Well, it was hard on me and my family.  I knew that I wouldn't always live in Utah. But I didn't think that this was good timing.  But we felt strongly that we needed to go. This deciding all happened well I had my two days of recovery at the hospital!

Henry is here!

Henry was born was on September 13, 2012. That morning I started to have some pressure waves and took a bath and they continued, which in my mind I thought that it might be the day.  I rested in the morning and then Dave went to work, so I got up.  Then my emotions started and my Dad came and got Jonathan and Sarah.  The pressure wave started to really come around 1:45.  Kristi came over around that time to help me (she was my awesome doula) and we walked over to my parents.  The pressure waves started to come, I was doing hyponobabies and was able to relax with each pressure wave (with Kristi's help). We came back to my house and birthed on the birthing ball, with getting into the bath and shower.  It became really intense and with my lower back pain, Dave and my Mom got home.  Then Dave helped relieve the back pain, and then started getting the bags in the van.  I started feeling him come lower and then we finally left and started to the hospital.  It was very difficult to relax, I felt that he was driving crazy (which I guess he wasn't). We got there and they wanted me to sit in a wheelchair, but there was no way in my mind.  Well the pressure waves kept coming and one on top of each other and I was unable to walk hardly at all.  I finally got on the wheelchair kneeling, and Dave pushed me as fast as he could. I barely got out of the elevator and into my room, and got on the bed and tried to find a comfortable position.  I was kneeling on my knees and pushed him out (without the Doctor and a code white) with two maybe three pushes he was there- the nurse caught him! I DID IT! With the help of my amazing support- Kristi, Dave, and my Mom! He was born at 5:27 weight of 7.7 lb. 19 inches long!

Rainbows

Jonathan has just fallen in love with rainbows in the last little while!  He saw this one tonight and said it is just beautiful.  The other day we were driving home from somewhere and he saw one, and he really wanted to stop at Papa's to make sure he saw it!

Having a hard night!

Last night Gordon was having a hard night.  We are trying to transition him into Jonathan's room, and he is having a harder time then expected.  But last night just seemed harder then normal.  He is our cuddle bug, so I just cuddled up with him and enjoyed the one on one time with him!

Sarah goes to Preschool

Sarah started preschool this past week.  She goes three times a week this year, since last year they were not seeing improvement (neither was I).  She seems to be enjoying it, however what I get out of what they do so far is snack time and playing on the playground. :) She did mention them reading a few books , but I can't remember if she did or the teacher.  We are still looking for a good speech therapist for her at a decent rate. We have her first IEP tomorrow for this year!

Going to the Brigham City Temple Open house

We went with to the Brigham City Temple Open house as a family with some of my extended family!  Dave was able to get the day off and we went.  It was a great experience.  Jonathan's favorite part was the grounds of the temple and Sarah's was the baptismal font.

On the bus, going up to the temple!

After the tour and eating cookies!  Getting fresh air!
Our cute little guy, he is so fun to take a picture of cause he will actually stand and say cheese!

Our family picture! (However I of course was VERY HOT so it shows in my face)
I just love these pictures, this was Sarah's idea to go and act like they were going into the temple!  Such a cutie!

On our way back to the car, to get cooled off.  And then heading to Heidi's to eat dinner (at a cool house).

Hiking the Y

Dave was a good Daddy last week he took the kids and hiked the Y since I was sick.  Sarah and Jonathan was so excited to go.  Jonathan did great, Sarah did the best she could, Gordon feel asleep, and Daddy got a really good workout!

Making Applesause

This past weekend we made a few batches of applesauce and canned them.  I think that this year has been my best year of making the applesauce, and the kids actually like it!  They were thrilled to help and loved putting on their aprons!

RANDOM

He just loves his build a bear, he tells me that almost every other day.  I think that one thing that he loves is that he worked hard for something that he really wanted  and was important to him!  Which makes me happy!
Yes this is how we find Sarah sometimes when she has finally fell asleep!
Our sweet Gordon sleeping after a long day at church!
Jonathan being a good big brother feeding him chocolate cake, Gordon has a little sweet tooth!
We found this dinosaur at a garage sale and they all love it!
Everyone helping momma get ready for the baby, sorting diapers!  And yes Gordon found his own spot all by his self.  He is becoming such a big boy!
This is how everyone has felt in the last three weeks.  We have had the stomach flu around here.  Dave is the last to get it, and trying to recover from it right now.  Last week I was miserable and wanting the baby to be HERE.  But now I am thankful since Dave is sick.  I would rather wait till he is better.
Our cute boy enjoying a snack before bed!
