Happenings (Beginning of June)

So I am finally starting the fun summer we have had!  Here is just things that we were up to at the beginning of June!

This was Sarah last day of school, she came home with a bag full of goodies, she had a great teacher!
Gordon climbed into Henry's crib and I guess he wanted to hold him!  He loves Henry!

Sarah has a hard time waking up, we were so glad that school was done so we didn't have to force her out of bed in the mornings!
We were given killer chocolate cake!  Gordon LOVED it!

Our Handsome Gordon!

Sarah in some new PJ's that we got at a garage sale, we love them here!  Overall they are wonderful!
Jonathan is such a helper, feeding Henry for me well I get dinner ready!  What am I going to do without him this year?  It will be good to train the next one!!
Yes this is our cute poser!  Two of her favorite buys of the day!
Another tooth gone!!
Out for a ride, just Jonathan and I!  We LOVED it!  Jonathan was in Heaven!

Kids say the darnest things

During Jonathan personal prayer tonight
Heavenly Father please help me to listen to my parents.  Please help Sarah to understand what my parents say.  Please help Gordon to not get into things he is not suppose to (as he had just got into Jonathan's bubbles he had got at a Birthday party).  And please help me to get better at playing the games on the tablet.  And then he finished

This past week I was upstairs either changing Henry or something but I sitting on the floor and the three others where playing downstairs.  Gordon comes up stairs crying, puts his face in mine and squeezes his eyes shut so I will see the tears.
Momma I crying

Each first Sunday of the month we have a family testimony meeting. Sarah bore her testimony after Jonathan.
I know that Jesus loves me and that Violet loves me.

I don't write down these things then I forget, and I love these moments with my children that I just love and want to remember!  I need to blog more, it has been too long.  But we have been having too much as a family.  School will be upon in a little over a month and I am not ready for it emotionally, but Jonathan is!!!

Jonathan's Marathon!

This past Saturday Jonathan completed his first Marathon!  A little over a month ago I over heard some ladies talking about this FREE race that the kids run/walk 25 mile prior to the race and then finish the 1.2 and they receive a medal.  I pretty excited about it, however getting the 25 mile accomplished before the race day was challenging but he did it! When race day came he was so excited, and so was I!  I was a little emotional (but check it in check) since I love running and maybe Jonathan might share that same love! Jonathan has a hard time saying marathon, so he calls it his amazon! ;)
We are in a parking garage you cant see it but behind us is the finish line!

This is about the start of the race!
Sarah was bummed that she couldn't run it!  But next year she will be in kindergarten and will be able to!
Jonathan was standing by the kindergarten sign and wouldn't budge from that stop, he was really excited!  It was really cold, but it was suppose to rain!  So I was SO THANKFUL that it wasn't!

We met up with our friends, Jonathan and Schafer ran together!
Sarah with her Best Friend, Jasper got out for a minute so Sarah was very happy to take his stop! ;)  Aren't they so cute together!
This is how they ran the first quarter of the the race!
Look at our all star!  They both did great!
Jonathan was so proud, and so was I!  I was sad that I didn't get to the finish in time!

They did it!

Jonathan, Schafer, and Saffi

After we went and saw Dad at the expo and the kids got some candy.  We played a little in the bounce toys!

Then we headed home before the rain got us!  It was a blast, I am so glad we did it!

Gordon

Having fun being outside, he decided to get lots of bowls and line them up! Our funny little guy!

Wishing he could be outside, if only it wasn't raining! Sigh

Gordon is a ball of energy and VERY much a two year old!  He wants to be big and independent like Jonathan and Sarah!  He loves to be a helper.  He wants to be outside every minute of the day!  It has been raining so MUCH right now.  That it has been hard!  Gordon has changed his sleeping patterns with nap time and when he lets himself fall asleep!  However, tonight when Dave was reading him his books before bed he just couldn't keep his eyes open and fell asleep on Dave!!  His words are increasing all the time!  He loves to shower or take a bath.  Gordon just LOVES dogs, he also yells for them when he sees them.  The funny thing is the way he says Daddy and Doggy they sound very close!  He loves to explore and do little adventures with Sarah!

Our sweet Henry!

I just love this face, he is such a joy!  We just love our Henry!  He has finally decided to sit up, and he rather enjoys it! ;)  Henry is 8 1/2 months old.  He is a good little eater and learning to pick up cheerios.  This week Henry had his sixth tooth come in, and I think that is why he has a runny nose!  Henry loves to smile and laugh.  And he loves when his brothers and sister make him laugh.

Happy Birthday Lizz!

This weekend is my dear friends Birthday!  We celebrated having a hot dog roast!  We went to a local camping area, it was beautiful green!

The kids went on a walk with the Dads!  They had a blast!
 I just love this picture!

 Happy Birthday Lizz!
Gordon went up to Jasper and sat down and put his arm around him!  It was so sweet!

Mothers Day!

I had a wonderful Mothers Day!  On Wednesday before Mothers Day, Sarah's school had a presentation for the Mothers.  Sarah sang and we did a few activities together and had a snack.  It was fun to be together!  Dave made this cute little menu up for me the night before so that I choose what I wanted!  I just loved it!

It was a cold windy day but I wanted to take a picture outside, so we did!

Dave gave me these beautiful flowers!
We had a wonderful dessert!  Jonathan loved the angel food cake, he said he wants it for his birthday just with frosting!

I really enjoyed the afternoon with my cute family, I rested, we went on a walk, had a great dinner, and then dessert!  I am so thankful for my precious gifts that have been given to me to mother!  I am thankful for my own mother that has taught me so much and continues to guide me as a mother!
