Preschool Christmas Party

So on Tuesday was my day to have the Preschool co op, but we had a little Christmas party and all the Mom's came and did a little party so it was manageable around Christmas time. We first made a few ornaments! I loved the glitter ones!

Last we did sugar cookies (but I put it out of order)! Sarah enjoyed herself, and just couldn't get enough sprinkles and frosting:)!

They played a cute Christmas present game. There were different paper presents on the wall. Each child took a turn being blindfolded. Once they were blindfolded the other kids pointed out one of the presents. The blindfolded child was given a bow and had to try to discover which present to put the bow on. The other children sang a Christmas Carol. If they were close to the correct present, they sang loud, but if they were far away they sang soft. It was a super cute game!

They also did a little gift exchange. They all brought a little present and put them in the middle of the circle. They each drew a number and went in order of the numbers to pick a present.

Then they played "Santa, Santa, Elf" (Duck Duck Goose)

It was a fun party. All of the kids really enjoyed it.

Family Christmas Eve!

On Sunday we Celebrated our Christmas Eve with the entire family since everyone won't be getting together! It was great! We had our traditional Cafe Rio, which was inhaled! :) Then we did chimes, our Nativity story, and wishes! It was great to have everyone there- before Grandma and Grandpa left to go back East and Jeff and Marcie back to Texas!

Dave and I played a little before we started chimes!

Enjoying each others company!

Waiting for their turn!

Sarah loved Uncle Jeff!

Dave and I get the opportunity to get everyone dressed and assign out parts! I am thankful that Dave does it with me!
Jonathan was a donkey and he thought that was great, and he loved that he made everyone laughed!

Then we did our traditional wishes with the candy cane! Sarah did great she used so many words together!! " I wish family forever" :) It was so cute!

Jonathan wished that his leaky eye would stop. I wished for our family to continue to grow close and to gather together at least once a year! Dave wished that everyone would get out of debt and to leave a great legacy for our children!

The entire group, but Grandma and Grandpa!

Jeff' comes to town!

Jeff and Marcie came into town Late Thursday, but we were able to hang out with them Friday! Jonathan was excited for some new friends to play with (he is such a friendly boy)! We were so happy they came to be with all of us!

This is what Landon liked to do in his spare time! :)

Family pictures!

On December 19th we took our big family picture because we are ALL together! It was a nice day, but cold! Kate did great!

Enjoying our Sunday Afternoon!

This is a typical picture of how Gordon looks after a meal! Very Happy too!

Enjoying a church show together!

Our Gingerbread House!

One our family favorite tradition is making a gingerbread house! The kids were so excited to make it!

This year it was a little different with the kids being bigger, we just helped put on the icing and they decorated it! It was a lot of fun! I love working together as a family!

Trying to fix the candy, so it won't fall off!

The finished product!

Caroling for Family Home Evening

One of my favorite things to do during the Christmas time is Caroling! Dave playing the violin and then the kids and I singing! I love how it brings the spirit in our home!

Tree Trimming Party

Playing with the baby friendly nativity!

On the 10th of December we had a tree trimming party at Papa's! The kids helped decorate the tree, Grammy read them a Christmas story, ate lunch, colored the nativity story, and made cute ornaments!
