Tree Trimming Party

Playing with the baby friendly nativity!

On the 10th of December we had a tree trimming party at Papa's! The kids helped decorate the tree, Grammy read them a Christmas story, ate lunch, colored the nativity story, and made cute ornaments!

What does Sarah do in her spare time?

Yep, you guessed it- Climb Trees!

We were getting ready to go to the next party of the Day and Dave came out and found Sarah climbing in the tree and she was happy as could be- that she figured out how to get up the tree. But getting down was another story!

Annual Christmas Party!

We love going to Grammy's work party each year, and the kids were EXCITED! Well, at least Jonathan was and Sarah was until she saw Santa and she immediately started to back away! Jonathan and Sarah first started off making their craft! Jonathan picked a Santa Hat, and was thrilled with it!

Sarah picked this cute little necklace!
So did Lydia!

Daddy helped Jonathan

Gordon hanging out with Daddy!

Jonathan was of course first on Santa's lap for our family!

Checking out Santa!

No tears, just put his thumb in his mouth like usual!

Then finally Sarah sat on his lap! I was so proud of her! She did not cry, just a little unsure! What a big girl!

Showing off her gift from Santa!

Our little family (last year at this time there were only two:)

All the cousin that were there!

The three little girls, I just love this one and all there expressions!

Enjoying doughnuts!

Gordon almost eat and entire doughnut, what can I say but he is my eater!

Enjoying the Christmas games!

And of course sitting on Cosmo's lap!

It was a fun party!

Up to no good!

It seems that Sarah knows when the inopportune times are, and that is the time when she is mischievous! I was feeding Gordon and trying to get him down! I felt like I needed to find Sarah, and this is what she was doing! Good thing Dave got home within a few minutes to help me out!

Lights

Since we were going to take Grandma back to her house we decided to make the most of it and went and saw Aunt Debbie. She is always so pleasant to talk with and enjoys our visits!

Then after dropping Grandma off at where she is staying, we went up to the the lights. One of my favorite traditions!
But the part that the kids love the best is riding trax, or the train as they call it!

My cutie pie!

Watching the Nativity story!

Sarah was having fun when I was taking her picture and she was closing her eyes and she thought that she was being so funny! It sure made for a few cute pictures!

Our cute little family!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving. We enjoyed having Dave's Mom with us for the weekend. We had the big dinner at Kristi house, and I was thankful that she was willing to open up her house to all of us and the craziness that goes along with it.

I was on call for weekend, so Dave did alot of thing with Grandma and the kids. Dave took them to traflaga, and they just loved it.

Getting ready

Getting ready to go out to the first snow. The kids helped me make smelly ornaments. But after that they wanted REAL gingerbread cookies, so we made some with honey.

We enjoyed getting for Christmas. The kids were so excited to get all the decorations up.
