She loves monkeys, and so Jonathan was in HEAVEN!
This one you would dance and play music and so Jonathan was dancing with it!
All bundled up!

Cute Sarah!

Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus!

This was Jonathan's favorite lighted tree.
We weren't able to get a family picture cause our battery died!

Piano recital

Playing April child

After the first three kids played, Jonathan decided that it was his turn. He would say "my turn" after each person was done. So at the end of the rectial I said he could go up. He got up there and banged on the piano and then gave the proudest smile like "I did it"!

Jill and I

I had my piano recital yesterday! It took me a long time to get to this point, but I am glad I made it. Last spring I made goal to memorize my piece for this recital. I started the long process of learning it, to know it, to memorizing it, to adding dynamics, to building confidence. Well, I did it. After the performance I thought I did terrible and I was glad it was done. But tonight I listened to it again and I thought it was okay. I think the hardest thing for me was that at the end I totally messed up (I don't know what happened and how come I couldn't recover). But, looking back I am glad I memorized it because it made me stretch myself. I am thankful that I decided to start learning the piano over 3 years ago! I know that it will be a blessing to my family in the future.

Hats

Sarah just loves to put anything on that she finds! She found some hats of Daddy's; I think the pictures are so fun!

Jonathan wanted to join in!

Jonathan loves our Santa hat! He loves to bring it when we go somewhere! Jonathan is so excited for Santa come! He wants Candy, and he would also like a train! He knows that Santa comes after Grandma and Grandpa come and visit. I have to admit that I'm way excited too cause I think that is will be so much fin to watch Jonathan and Sarah this year!

Grandpa's 81st Birthday!

This past Saturday we celebrated Grandpa's 81st Birthday and had a family Christmas party. It was nice to get together with Phyllis and Heidi's family. We played lots of games, and ate great food, and had an white elephant exchange.Getting a prize from one of the games!
Playing

Trying to open up his gift, he was way excited! He got a car that he loves!
I just had to include this, at one point Sam got a nose warmer, to bad he didn't go home with it!

Happy Birthday Grandpa! We love you!

Enjoying the GREAT cake!

Santa Cookies

I love traditions! One of my favorite traditions is making Santa cookies, they are so much work but the end product is so good!
Jonathan helping press the cookie dough in the mold!
We made them over at Kristi's house and we decorated over 200 cookies!!!
(That was between mine, Kristi's, Mom & Dad's, and Liz's)
Can you tell she loved them!
Enjoying his cookie!
I made a few stars for Jonathan to decorate, he really enjoyed it!
What a cute boy!

And I got another banner up!

Playing

Sarah really loves to cuddle with blankets! I think this is so cute playing with one of the dolls she has!

The many purposes of a box and one of them is entertaining children!

First Snow Day!

This past Monday Jonathan woke up and said that he wanted to make a Snowman since it was snowing! It was nice Dave didn't have to go to school right away so I got them dress and Dave went out with them!

Getting into the snow!
Yes it is December and we still have pumpkins on our porch!

No snowman this time, but maybe next time! They last 20 minutes which I thought was pretty good!
