Making Santa Cookies

We continued our Family Tradition of making Santa cookies! Jonathan loved helping me, he kept saying "it's my recipe too Mom" if I was doing too much! Then while I pressed out the cookies- both Jonathan and Sarah were right there helping me or watching me. I let them press out a star or tree so they could decorate those! Then we got together with Papa and Aunt Kristi to finish the cookies. Jonathan enjoyed helping me by putting them in a line and putting them together! It was fun. I think that Jonathan will be able to help even more next year! They were great this year!!

Seeing Santa at the PEEP Party

We went to Sarah's last PEEP activity. Seeing Santa! We ate dinner and they had some carolers, which was so nice. I started to reflect about the program and how it had changed, but how it still was good for Sarah.

Visiting Santa

At the beginning of December we went to my Mom's annual work party. Jonathan couldn't wait to see Santa, he remembered from last year and was SUPER excited!
When we first got there Jonathan and Sarah made a craft.

Sarah loved her Tiara! She still wears around the house, but the cutie stuff has come off- but she still loves it!

This past week Jonathan informed me his name is Jonathan NOT Brother!!!

Now there was a family in front of our group. But Santa asked who would be the first one to sit on Santa's lap. So Jonathan ran up there he was SO EXCITED!

His grin after seeing Santa, he told Santa that he wanted buzz light year wings, we will have to see if that is in Santa's Bag!

Now Sarah on the other hand, wanted NOTHING to do with Santa!

Music Box

So this morning I had a little more one on one time with Sarah since Jonathan slept in (usually never happens). So I was making breakfast and Sarah was on the counter drinking some cocoa. Then I guess this Santa music box caught her eye. She pointed and said "ana" meaning Santa. So I go it down and played the music. She loved it and started signing more. Then while we ate breakfast I put it on the table. She loved it and waved at it and kept saying hi. It was so cute, so I had to take a few pictures. This is Jonathan being really talented and playing the drums and then tambourine at the same time. It sounded great!

This past Saturday we went to Grammy's annual Christmas party to see Santa!

Jonathan was so EXCITED to see SANTA!

Sarah was sure that she didn't want to be on Santa's lap!

But I think she did very well!

Jonathan wasn't sure at first, but I told him that he could tell Santa that he wanted candy and he got very excited and then wanted to sit on his lap it was so cute!

As you can see there were donuts. After we saw Santa all the kids eat donuts. Then they went and played games. Mommy was done with Sarah having donut, so I took it away and then cleaned Jonathan up. Well, Sarah picked it back up and eat the entire donut while walking around playing games.
