Jonathan gave a talk in Primary, we practice it the night before and the morning of- and he did great all by himself and then when it was his turn he got very nervous and didn't want to say it without my help! you can look at it on facebook cause I think it is too big to download!

Celebrating Easter at Papa's and Grammy's

The week before Easter we talked about what Christ was doing each day prior to being Resurrected! I loved it because it helped me get prepared for the real reason we have Easter; with reading and preparing to teach Jonathan and Sarah. I do think that Jonathan has a better understanding of the resurrection with my mini lessons, Grammy's lesson and his primary lesson at church!

On Saturday, April 23, 2011 we had a little celebration at Grammy's and Papa's. Grammy had a lesson about the Savior and what happened. Then with Daddy's help Sarah and Jonathan made a little tomb with a poster board and bowl and plate. Jonathan really liked it because it helped him visualize what happened to Jesus!

Then it was time for the Easter Egg Hunt!

Jonathan way excited, he woke up at 6:30 am cause he couldn't wait!

Easter Bunny!

The Easter Bunny came on Friday Morning- April 22, 2011! Jonathan was so excited!!!! He woke up at 6:30 am and hurried to see what the bunny brought and then came and told us!

Dying Eggs

We dyed eggs on Thursday April 21, 2011. Sarah really enjoyed it this year along with Jonathan! Gordon just hung out!

Putting on the wrap on the egg is always so hot from the blow dryer, so Dave got creative this year!

Easter!

On our Easter we had a little Family Home Evening on The Resurrection, then before church I took some pictures of the kids (Dave had to go to work, so it was rather tricky). Oh and Jonathan was in his first 3T clothes, and he was wearing a belt for the first time and thought that was cool- just like Daddy. So many times at church he would raise his shirt and show people his belt and say "Look I have a belt just like my Daddy." :) However Jonathan could still pull his pants down and go potty without unbuckling!

The next Day we had an Easter Egg Hunt at Papa and Grammy's House!
