Mid July Family Dinner

We enjoyed family dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Maughan, Petersons, Kumps, us, Grammy and Papa (as much as Papa could handle coming out)  The cousins had a blast with each other, popsicles, dress up, baby dolls.  I just love this picture of Henry and Brycen!  Those two got those boosters out on their own and stay their eating their popsicle.

Cleaning out Mom and Dads Closet

While cleaning out Mom and Dads closet we found some gems!  Like Dads Leatherman's jacket from Calaveras High School; and we found lots of clothes for the boys to dress up in!  But lots of junk!

Just Random Happenings in Utah

I would get up before the kids got up to go workout, which was a stress relief to me...it was fun to go with Kristi.

We deep cleaned alot

I love that Henry got on his own shoes

Playing together

I made waffles like Grammy...but leaving that for Grammy in the future.

Spending time with Papa

Haircuts all around

More deep cleaning in mom and dads closet

Picking Apricots

While we were in Utah, my great Aunt has an apricot tree and we spent a few morning picking apricots with the kids and Aunt Kristi.  We dried lots and ate lots.  Dad liked them in the juice we juiced for him.  We also enjoyed going to the pool as often as we could get there.  The kids just LOVED the pool.  At the beginning of our visit we went frequently but as Dad got sicker we stayed around the house and helped care for Dad and take care of the needs.

Papa coming Home

This is the day of or after Papa got home from the Hospital; everyone was so excited to have Papa home and Papa was excited to be home too!  This is Sarah, Gordon and Papa.  Gordon is giving Papa loves!

We went to chick fil a and enjoyed our free meals because we dressed up like a cow or cow appreciation day... Jonathan was in Heaven since he NEVER gets his own meal... I guess it is a first child problem or being in our family problem.

That Saturday that Papa was Home Grammy made waffles and the kids LOVED it...Gordon could have waffles or pancakes everyday!

Papa is looking good and feeling good...he is loving being with his family!

Enjoying ranch dressing...Henry loves anything that can he can dip!

Got my hair cut with Mom right before we went and picked up Dad!

All dressed up...we had the stomach flu that day and hadn't eaten anything but was feeling better...although Sarah threw up in the drive through... and every time Gordon see this picture he says "Remember that, remember when Sarah threw up"

Going to see Papa at the hospital

Dad worked so hard well he was in the hospital to do his four walks a day; which included four loops.  Dad was so determined to get better and stronger as fast as he could! Sarah always wanted to come see Papa whenever she could.  She held his hand and gave him loves.  Dad loved having visitors and always wanted to have someone with him to keep him company while in the hospital!

Henry's New Do

I held off as long as I could with cutting Henry's hair.  I let it grow and grow cause I wanted to keep my baby as long as I could... because I feel that is the last thing of being a baby that you can hold on too!  But doesn't he look so handsome with his new haircut!  Middle to the beginning of July

Special Family Home Evening

On July 7th we had a special Family Home Evening at the hospital chapel.  Dad was given a few blessings while in the hospital and one of then said that he needed to write out a family creed for what your family stood and what it meant to be a Kump.  The grandkids passed off scriptures or articles of faith and got a fruit snack from Papa.  Jonathan played twinkle twinkle little star.  It was short but special FHE.
