Middle to end of January!

Jonathan came home with this wonderful letter from his teacher!  We just love Mrs. Jordan!

We have played a lot of games recently!

While, Sarah was at Sister Packers on day we went to the Mall and the boys enjoyed playing in the play area!

Lost another one!

Helping with breakfast, and Gordon even dressed himself!

Enjoyed sledding on a day off of school, then we went over and had lunch with Daddy!

Henry loves to get onto the stool in the bathroom and try to find the toothbrushes or toothpaste!

After being here over a year, we have figured out how to get our date nights in with free babysitting.  We go to Hyvee's that has free babysitting and then we eat in the food court area.  We have an hour and half that we can talk and enjoy time together!  Works for us!

One Sunday I came in to check on Sarah and this is how I found her!  Reading a book in the tub (that book was gone)

Snowshoeing

On Martin Luther King, we decided to go snowshoeing with our neighbors!  It was a lot of fun; we hiked on a frozen river!  Only in Minnesota! Henry struggled, but Gordon did great in his own snow shoes!

Middle of January

One day Sarah painted my toenails with multiple colors!  One of Sarah's favorite things to do right now!

One of my sweet friends made this for me, and I forgot to take a picture before we started eating it! ;)

Playing Dentist, Sarah and Gordon just LOVE this!

My sweet Gordon, he just loves this hat, however it is a little small!

One of my favorite things to do; is to see how Sarah is sleeping!

One of Sarah's favorite responsibilities at night is putting away the left over food!  Sarah struggles to do any responsibilities; so we will take it!  Look at that face, she is so happy!  I just love it!

Happy Birthday to Me

It was a great Birthday, Dave and I went snowshoeing on a date the night before.  Then Dave and the kids, let me sleep in and made me breakfast in bed, it was a fun day spending it with the family.  On to a new year to learn and grow!

1st week of January

Dave giving Gordon loves when he got home from work.

Enjoying time with Sarah, playing a new game of Fancy Nancy (which she loves)

Building puzzles together

A Sunday night, trying to get out some energy; the next day school was cancel for bitter cold temperatures.

There is a wind chill on top of this around neg 20 or 30; I guess this was the worst winter in about 30 years! Yikes

Sarah taking Care of Henry, eating apples together!

Sarah woke up early one morning and wanted to make eggs with me, and then she wanted me to take a picture and send it to Grammy!  My sweet Sarah!

I guess I am a real Minnesotan!
I was tried of being cold when I went outside; which is an improvement from the previous winter that I really didn't go outside!

Jonathan is learning the violin; he likes to play with Daddy!  Although practicing is lots of work!

Sarah is almost six and we finally got her to a dentist that she would open her mouth and now she is not afraid of dentist.  It just took a lot of TLC and time!  Daddy took he to get her 1st very own happy meal!

Jonathan came home one day, so excited that he was moved up to 1R!  My little reader!

Henry is growing and learning to drink from a cup, he loves being a big boy!  He is 16 months (almost).

And lots of this going on!

New Years Eve and New Years

We rang the New Year in around 8 and then sang and Daddy and Jonathan played the violin.  Jonathan loves to play the violin with Daddy!

Then it was kind of warm (for MN; meaning it was above 0) so we went sledding as a family to start off our New Year right!

Daddy and the kids played with lincoln logs and building with Bristol blocks (which is the kids favorite toys)

2014 is going to be a great year!
