General Conference

We enjoyed having General Conference and listening to our Apostles and Prophet! Saturday was a little busy, Sunday was nice and relaxed. We enjoyed Cinnamon rolls for breakfast, which is a real treat for us! Dave made the kids this tent, like King Benjamin. They of course thought it was the best. Gordon learned to give kisses, and it was a lot of fun!

Gordon at 14 months

Our Gordon! I have been thinking that I need to a little update of Gordon! He is growing and learning new things all the time! He LOVES he outdoors and wants to be outside all the time! These days he seems as though he is at the door waiting to go outside. He is starting to walk more and more these days, but hasn't decided that that is the best way to get around! But he has learned to stand back up when he falls! He is doing great and he is only 14 months, since Jonathan and Sarah were not till 18 and 19 months when they decided to start walking. Gordon has learned to give kisses, and loves to give slobbery ones! We all loves to get them, he is so fun! Gordon knows how to get off Mom and Dads bed, feet first and slide! Gordon takes two naps here and there but just cant decide what is best one or two! He sleeps great at night, most of the time. He sure can eat!!!! It just seems as though I cant get him to stay full very long. He is really a happy guy, and just cant wait to be running around with his brother and sister!

Easter

We enjoyed a nice Easter together!  Dave went and got his Mom first thing in the morning, and it was nice to have Grandma H with us!  The kids enjoyed it!  Dave was able to sing in the choir at church!

Celebrating at Grammy and Papa's

We had our annual Easter Celebration at Grammy and Papa's right before Easter!  Grammy went through a book with the kids about the Saviors last week, and then they made Resurrection rolls, lunch, and then the big Easter Egg Hunt! This year I let the kids eat there candy or save it, but the bag was theirs.  Well, Sarah's was done but that night or the next.  But Jonathan just finished his a day or two ago!! :)

(Well there is a new format on the blogger, so my pictures are backwards- oh well)  The Easter Bunny came on Saturday,  Jonathan and Sarah were SO excited! We try to help them understand the real reason for Easter.  The week before we go through Christ last week on earth, and I found this cool print out and we all enjoyed it!

Now that is is getting nicer, more or less. We love to take walks or ride bikes down to the river!

At the end of March, we were a little behind, we finally got the spring garden in. We enjoyed working together! Gordon was happy to be outside!

Happy Belated Birthday!

So my Dad turned 60 years old this year and a week before his Birthday Kristi saw this cool idea. I said we should do it even though it will be late! We gave it to him on April 1st. We did 60 years of memories and had whomever would like send in memories of Dad! It was so fun to put together, and he really liked (and so did Mom). I am really glad we did it even though it was late!
