Tender Mercies
I love traditions! While things are financially hard right now but we are making it by little tender mercies and being wise. We have a tradition to make gingerbread houses each year. We have not missed a year since we have been married. While with things being tight, we just couldn't buy a kit. I just pushed it off; the kids would ask but I just wold them to talk to Dave about it. I knew that I would make the house, but then the candy we needed and in the kit it has the right amount of candy. Well, yesterday morning Sarah asked me once again about if on the way to church, and I once again changed the subject. Well, last night we where shone so much love from others and with that on our door step was a gingerbread house kit along with many other wonderful gifts that our kids will love. I know that this was a tender mercy from above. I know that it was little, but to me and my children this was important. And if it is important to us it is important to him. I am so thankful for this gift of love! I know that he know me and my family and doesn't just know me and my needs but my he loves me!

My Wonderful Children
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth....
I just love this stage, I think that it is so cute to have two missing teeth!
Our 1st snow strom
The kids were very excited that we got some snow! Sarah and Gordon went out after Jonathan went to school! Then they went out again when Jonathan got home from school. Jonathan was out for about an hour, having fun in the snow. Jonathan usually doesn't like the snow, but he told me when he came in that he decided that he like snow now! (I think that it has to do with having better gear that actually keeps him warm!
Canning Applesause
I was given a lot of apples so I borrowed my friends squeezo and made applesause with the kids help! I made 14 pints and 19 quarts! So happy I did it, it was a lot of work but we love it already!
Sarah cut her hair.....
Well, Sarah cut her hair. I was not happy at all. She later said she would never cut her hair again. Good thing! I still don't know why she decided to cut her hair!
Halloween
This is how things go right now! We got ready to go see Dad at work once Jonathan got home from | sc | hool and we took pictures! |

So cold! Getting ready for round two, didn't last too long during round one, and Henry only lasted round one! |
Everyone was very tuckered out! |
Halloween Day!
Sarah had an eventful day, we enjoyed doing a craft and then later we were reading a book and she was just working on wiggling her tooth. I finally could tell that she just wanted her front tooth out. So I worked and pushed continually and FINALLY we got it out! She was SOOO Happy!
Henry's new skill!
Henry's been trying to get up the stairs here and there. One day on the last week of October. I was upstairs and Henry was down stairs and this is where I found Henry almost to the top! He is so proud!
Craving Our Pumpkin
Craving our Pumpkin, Jonathan was eager to crave the pumpkin. Jonathan and Sarah did most of the gutting. Dave craved out the picture everyone voted on. |
This is how Gordon looked for a few weeks around our house. Trying to potty train, but I would have to say that he is potty trained. There are accidents every now again! |
